We have never beaten Tom Brady
We are 1-4 on grass this season
We are 1-6 while wearing our Navy Jerseys in the playoffs
Dak leads the league in INT’s even with missing 5 games

There were a few more disheartening stats that I have heard recently but couldn’t remember.

This game is shaping up to be a shitshow!
The 1-6 Navy jersey thing is a non issue.

1) we havent been in playoff game and wore our Navy jersey's in forever have we? When was the last time, the 80's?

2) jersey color has zero impact on game outcome, if we lose (which we will) it's because this is a sad sack bunch of losers who probably didn't prepare worth a shit

road playoff games:

1-3 wearing royal blue (lost to Browns, Colts and Eagles; beat Rams)
0-3 wearing navy (lost to Carolina twice, Redskins)

Actually, we'll say true stuff about him & truth tell that he’s not the right guy for the job...

You should try criticizing him once RJ, might do you some good...

My gawd, Ochoa must be angling for Spagnolas job, he has a defense for every cowboy failure or deficiency

I think it was absurd to hire Daks peer as OC, they needed a 20+ year, highly experienced coach (and a great QB coach to help Dak work on accuracy, etc) that could help improve Daks weaknesses and perhaps kept Moore around in some assistant/slash intern position or let him go coach at Boise state. Its nuts to me he was vaulted to OC by the dipshit owner with so little experience

Yeah he was saying the same crap verbatim about Ginger. That we'd rue the day he ever left. Still waiting to rue.

McCarthy could have replaced Moore but chose not to, it's well documented. McCarthy was actually complimentary of Moore even before he took the job here.

I am not sure it matters anymore who Prescott's OC is. He has so much liberty to change plays that its hard for me to legitimately point the finger too much at Moore. Moore's worst trait to me right now he calls too many little cutesy trick plays, even when we might be bashing the team with traditional play calls.

When we run the ball well Prescott normally looks like a different QB. We haven't run it well in over a month and that's why he looks so bad now.

Troy says he didn't see Prescott play with confidence.

I say I saw 53 guys that just didn't give a rats ass how they played. No effort whatsoever and I bet they practiced exactly the same way (not just this week but vs Houston and TN too, and to a lesser extent the Colts)

They should have fucking destroyed everyone of these teams, and didn't. They played a couple teams that literally had nothing to play for, several of these games also had the other teams missing a number of key players (or it Titans case, everybody was benched) and we still played like complete dogshit.

Massive culture and coaching problem.

Brown would give up his sole long pass and then settle down, whereas the other guys suck all game long. That's the problem.

I'm saying he should have never got the job and in Daks second year, they should have brought in the best QB coach and OC on the planet to get the most out of him.

I cant remember, who was OC in his 2nd year?

Bottom line, is its irrelevant what McCarthy may have wanted (or wants) because he or any other coach only gets what jeri allows and jeri will never hire a coach that would have leverage (and no coach who wanted that leverage would take the job) so we'll always end up with hamstrung coaches just thrilled to be the coach of the Cowboys but have no chance of success due to the jeri & spawn dictatorship where his offspring act like minders from 3rd world dictatorships hovering over staff and watching their every move

the organization is a joke and always will be as long as jeri and spawn own the team

and just because they print money off the sweet stupid teat that is Cowboy nation who abides in spite of jeri, not because of him, doesnt mean the organization is run well because they'd be even more valuable and make even more money if they could win Super Bowls. Like the Geico commercial says, even a caveman could do it with the dumbass Cowboy fans who continually support financially and with eyes and ears. Buying PSLs was the death blow to any fan leverage in our lifetime

Agree with most of your post Yim, but McCarthy had complete autonomy to hire anyone he wanted.

He wanted to keep Moore as OC. He wanted Mike Nolan as DC, he wanted Joe Philbin for OL.

Everyone of those guys are (or were) here because he wanted it that way.

I dont believe that, if jeri didnt like any of his selections (and he may have given Mike the appearance of freedom of choice), jeri would have veto'd them. I also think Mike was basically told to keep Moore as OC and given how bad he wanted the job and the bullshit he laid on jeri to get the job, its pretty clear to me, he would have said or done just about anything to get it.

jeri always hires a coach with at least a whiff of desperation so he can control them

no point debating it further as we obviously see it differently plus both of us are speculating since neither of us we're in the room and privy to Jeri's true thoughts on the matter

I am admittedly bias'd against jeri based on 3 decades of watching his nonsense so I'll never give him the benefit of the doubt without overwhelming evidence to the contrary

If McCarthy gets canned and the next coach inexplicably retains Moore, you'll have your answer. Hell, the next coach could be Moore. :facepalm
