Also that still doesn't explain the mass of young fans who were too young to even remember the 90's teams.
Except dallas actually does terribly in that demographic:

Despite their overall popularity, Dallas does not have the support of the younger crowd. The age 30-to-64 demographic lists the Cowboys at No. 1, but 18-24 supports the Packers and 25-29 likes the Steelers.

The Dallas Cowboys are the most popular NFL team in America | Dallas Sun Times

Facts always get in the way of a good knob slobbeing.

No team has a 20 year wave. I don't care who you are. Also that still doesn't explain the mass of young fans who were too young to even remember the 90's teams.

No offense.

But fuck the young fans.

They are Jones' enablers. They honestly view the flagship franchise as a regular team and hold their standards the same

Dallas does, in fact it's much more than 20 years. Hell not even the Shamwow guy could screw up this branding and the momentum of this machine. It's the Dallas fucking Cowboys.

You don't think a good percentage of young fans aren't "legacies" with their parents before them?

Have you ever spoken to a "millennial"? Even legacies have to have seen some success in their lifetime to remain fans. But they haven't. To have that many loyal fans and have gained that many new fans in spite of having pretty much zero success over that stretch of time, that takes some genius marketing. I don't see how that is even debatable.

I've mentioned before in here that this board is full of negative fans (not all just most) but you guys are really proving it. First by starting a thread titled We're not "negative fans". The fact that you feel the need to defend yourself shows that I struck a nerve.

Jerry can be accused of a lot of things and is definitely responsible for the shitty product that is on the field and has been on field for 20+ years but to say that Jerry is not a genius at marketing this team only shows that you are blinded and bitter by your own hate. Take your jilted glasses off and you'll see. You claim to be realists, well that's also real.

That really proves nothing. That's one pole conducted by interview how many people? Where did they interview them? Did they interview every single Cowboys fan in the world? Or did the dude that wrote that article just walk into the local bar and interview the dipshits that were there after a loss?

You are absolutely 100% correct! They are definitely enablers. They are also fans as the result of his marketing skills.

And they are like the weak minded who bought snake oil.

Same thing.

Your claim of Jerry's "marketing genius" doesn't stand in the shitstorm of fact. Dallas' PR and marketing man Rich Darymple is a guy Jimmy brought in from Miami, as is the TV production company Dallas still uses. In his first year Jimmy wore a lot if hats including stopping that hick dumbass Jerry from putting the cheerleaders in bicycle shorts, and about a dozen other stupid things Jones wanted to do.

All Jerry has done is keep key people in the front office Jimmy put there. He's rode the tide of past success he had little to do with other than signing the checks.

Visit the link and click on the link supplied there for the actual raw data. You continue to suck Jerry's dick for no apparent reason.

So basically he hired the guy that hired a team that became one of the best marketing teams ever assembled, then he fired the guy hired the team but kept the team (so he wouldn't have to share) and has made billions... That may be the biggest scumbag think to do, no one is denying that but that is pretty genius if your goal is to become rich and stay rich.

The only thing you have "struck" is your lips around Jerry's dick.

Do you understand that "negative fan" is a oxymoron? You can't possibly be a "fan" if you're truly "negative."

This thread has nothing at all do do with your drivel here recently, and everything to do with the general Homer idiot fan out there. Of which, you seem to be a qualifier, albeit recent for these parts.

To say that all Jerry does is sign check is false.
Nobody said that. No wonder you're so stupid, you can't read for context. Go back and fucking read what was posted.

No. He bouught the team that already was one of the best marketing teams ever assembled, then fired the braintrust of that, Tex Schramm. Then Jimmy bailed his as out of the fire.

Any idiot could have bought this team and made billions. In fact, that's exactly what happened.

The fact is the Dallas Cowboys were losing money hand over fist when Jerruh bought the team. He brought in Jimmy which was his smartest business decision to date and the only thing I respect about him. That he was smart enough to do that in the first place.

Jimmy immediately went to work cutting unnecessary expenses. He didn't solve all their money problems but he certainly helped

saying anyone could have bought the team and made billions is a bit of a stretch

The fact is Jerruh bought a team that had a good brand but was losing money, losing fan support, had a coach that was past his expiration date, along with a number of players who were past theirs. Jimmy resolved those issues and won a super bowl in two short years

Jerruh then assembled the team that helped him turn the unprofitable Dallas Cowboys into the most profitable sports franchise in the world!

Not just in America and not just the NFL

The most profitable franchise in ALL OF SPORTS in the ENTIRE WORLD!

That fact can not be disputed

Now is he a marketing genius? Hell no

Is he a shrewd business man? You better fucking believe it

Do I hate the man? Fuck yeah I do!

I don't give a fuck what records the team sets in attendance or profitability

I care that they put a winning product on the field!!!

And that is where Jerry has failed miserably in the past two decades

Well said and I can agree with that. Shrewd businessman are good words to describe him. The way I personally see it... And evil genius is still a genius.
