I guarantee you Trayvon thought Zimmerman was reaching for a gun when he reached for his phone.
See I can make outlandish guarantees that can't be disproven too.

I had my tongue stuck firmly in my cheek when I typed that.
In spite of the guarantees and certain knowledge of what happened that night that are contained in this thread,only two people could say what really happened.
And one of them is dead.
I wouldn't jump someone if I knew they had a gun. Would you? And another thing, I've been approached several times by security guards/courtesy officers asking me what I was doing. Not once did I start punching them for it. You can't beat someone up if they ask you a question. Trayvon learned that the hard way.

Valid question. For all we know, Zimmerman might've shot Martin, then smashed the dying kids knuckles on the pavement, and given himself two black eyes, a broken nose, head gashes, and a fat lip.

I don't know what I would do, because it's never happened to me. I guess your options when you have your life threatened are:
1) run - which leads to you getting shot in the back,
2) put up a fight - which probably leads to you getting shot in the chest.
Maybe he thought that the odds were better to survive if he beat the crap out of Zimmerman. Somehow I doubt he thought, "this dude be followin me. I'm gonna end this mothafucker's life."

How was his life threatened? By all accounts, the gun was never revealed until after the physical altercation started. So if he ran, how was he going to get shot in the back? Or more to the point, how would that thought even cross his mind, causing him to weigh the odds of the two scenarios as you've layed out here, if he didn't know about a concealed gun?

Thats the thing there has only been one account and that's from Zimmerman.
There are far to many people base the scenarios on what Zimmerman and his people have said and that has changed from him going back to his car to him ambushing him from the bushes.
I don't think Zimmerman was waving a gun around but its not a leap to think he could have threatened Martin or tried to detain him in some way, everybody has to admit he sounded pissed on the 911 call.

Prosecutors Have Video Evidence In Trayvon Martin Slaying

A Florida prosecutor has listed new video evidence from the 7-11 where slain teen Trayvon Martin reportedly bought Skittles the night he died.
The Orlando Sentinel reports that Florida State's Attorney Angela Corey filed Monday night a list of witnesses for the state as well as several pieces of evidence.
The video evidence includes footage from the 7-11 where the slain teen reportedly bought Skittles and tea before the shooting, and from the clubhouse in the townhouse complex where he was killed.
Zimmerman, the Florida watchman who shot and killed Martin, was charged last month with second-degree murder. Zimmerman has claimed he was acting in self defense.

Corey's witness list names six civilians, including Martin's parents and Zimmerman's neighbor Frank Taaffee, as well as 18 Sanford, Fla., police officers.
Fire-rescue personnel, investigators from Corey's office, and a New Jersey forensics expert are also listed as witnesses.
Corey's list of evidence also includes Zimmerman's phone records from Feb. 20 through Feb. 26, and from March 7 through March 22. The phone records of an unnamed witness, simply labeled W8, are also included in the filing, the Orlando Sentinel reports.
The federal government is considering charging Zimmerman with hate crime charges, which means he could face the death penalty, WFTV reported Monday.
A conviction of second-degree murder, the current charge against Zimmerman, carries a possible sentence of life in prison. But a hate crime charge means he could face the death penalty.
However, the feds would have to prove Zimmerman targeted Martin because he was black for a hate crime charge to stick.

Not going to be mad at all because there is a real issue with finding out what actually happened and i don't think it was murder.
My only issue was this not being thoroughly investigated and seemingly swept under the rug, you are the guy who has a rooting interest for somebody to "win".
And really dude what is it with you and my username, I still have no idea why it means that much to you one way or another, am I supposed to be embarrassed or something because you changed it.
