Poor guy still needs donations, people. Back in the day, before this country got corrupted by people like MLK, whites could totally just lynch a black dude whenever. Now they gotta hire attorneys and do all this other bullshit.

Whats the point in having a gun if you can't use it to kill black people :confused

No I didn't say Zimmerman pulled out a gun. The account I've read was that Zimmerman reached for something. When you're being followed and are confronted, it's reasonable to think he's reaching for a gun. And Zimmerman was armed, so it's not out of left field. So in my opinion, it's reasonable to go after someone who does that.

Or a taser. Or pepper spray. Or a knife. Or a cellphone like Zimmerman was reaching for. Or a dildo if you're bbgun.

Just because someone is acting shady and reaches into their pocket doesn't give you carte-blanche to attack them. What you're supposed to do is what you described to us in your Hostile-induced story. You get the hell out of there.

I didn't say it wasn't reasonable to think he was reaching for something else. I know this stuff is hurting your head, so I won't insult you too much.

Hostile-induced? lol OK. If I was Hostile, I would have jumped out of my driver's side door going 90 mph, onto the hood of their car, sent my fist through the hood and disabled the vehicle. Then I would have pulled out the serpentine belt and used it to disarm the occupants of the vehicle before they could reach for their gun, then wait for the authorities to arrive and give me my purple heart.

BTW, running on foot from someone with a gun isn't going to achieve much, besides getting you shot in the back instead of the chest.

Well, you keep saying that, excluding other possibilities.

My bad.

Attacking someone who has a gun will get you shot too.

I'm not excluding other possibilities because that's not how the law works. If it's reasonable to think the guy is reaching for a gun, you can use reasonable force to defend yourself. You don't have to prove that there are no other reasonable possibilities.

True, it could.

Charges will be filed...http://www.washingtonpost.com/polit...says/2012/04/11/gIQAHJ5oAT_story.html?hpid=z1

I'm going to feel sorry for the prosecution because they likely won't get much to convict him on, unless they charge him with something significantly lower.

Hope they're not trying to charge him with anything at all in an effort to prevent riots and a race war.

Maybe just maybe they have plenty to charge him with its amazing that you can't allow for that.

But don't let me stop your victory lap you were having earlier.

Have we not considered the fact that Martin may in fact have been a snitch? I have heard that the end up with stitches.

True, it could.

Not being argumentative here, but is that law across the board, or just in jurisdictions such as Texas (where you live) and Florida, where it's legal to carry guns?

Being argumentative now, but when was a punch considered reasonable force next to a gun? What guy with a gun is going to be like, "wow, he punched me, I got nothing."?
