Hence my prefacing everything I said with "based on Zimmermans account of events."

No, but you do jump someone buy jumping them right after they answer you.

Oh.... lol

Or right after you reach into your pocket for a... fuck that, I'm not waiting to see what you pull out.

If Martin felt he was in danger, he could've continued to flee instead of waiting to ambush Zimmerman.

Or, as soon as Zimmerman reached in his pocket, Martin could've flee'd.

Both men made terrible decisions. Based on Zimmermans injuries, charges likely ought to be brought forward.

But this isn't a case of racism like the media portrayed it to be.

Now it's a crime to be black and run between buildings.

Cool.

If you're neighborhood watch, and there's a guy running between buildings late at night, yeah... call the cops. Follow the guy.

White, black, chinese, whatever.

Keep reaching as opposed to looking at this objectively.

Or Martin was close to home and Zimmerman was between him and the place he wanted to go. If someone is chasing me, I am running away from home instead of leading him to where I live.

Everything about this points to a racially motivated, senseless murder.

And this is coming from someone that hates seeing the race card played.

Bascially, the people who want to paint this as white vs black will never be convinced otherwise.

So be it.

Anyone who looks at the big picture would see this is not a racially motivated crime.

I want to know the race of the other people Zimmerman called in about. How many are black vs white. I think this will tell us if Zimmerman was more likely to call someone in for the race or simply because he didn't know them.

Detaining an innocent person is considered kidnapping.

How was he detaining him? From what we know, he was following him while in contact with a 911 operator.

Even if he was going to try a citizens arrest, which you've mentioned but I haven't seen anywhere else, it still isn't kidnapping. This story has plenty of speculation and hyperbole. It certainly doesn't need any more.

If the person who is being arrested in a citizen's arrest has not committed a felony or been in the process of doing so then it is unlawful and the arresting party can be sued for kidnapping. Bob is the one who mentioned citizen's arrest, I discussed it with him. What was Zimmerman going to do when he got out of his car? He plainly said "These <insert whatever you heard> always get away" and pursued him to ensure he did not get away.

Years ago one of my neighbors college aged kids got arrested for DUI. The cops arrested him in his own driveway.

A person called the cops after they noticed the errant driving and suspected he was drunk, and followed the kid back to his home wehre the cops met him. The cops did the sobriety test and failed, and was arrested.

Was the person that called the cops making a citizens arrest, Cythim?

Did the person have a long standing history of trying to be a cop? Did the person put themselves in a position of confrontation with your neighbor's kid? Different situation, different outcome.
