I get the part where if trayvon Martin was Chen Lin hes not gonna get followed/harassed.

But other than that I don't see where race comes into it.

Zimmerman chased Martin with intent to kidnap him. Martin had the right to defend himself against that.

Zimmerman was going to attempt to make a citizens arrest, which is kidnapping since Martin did nothing wrong.

Why would he have needed to make a citizen's arrest?

At worst, up to that point, Zimmerman was being highly intrusive, but to attach felonies to him without a shred of proof is ridiculous.

If the person who is being arrested in a citizen's arrest has not committed a felony or been in the process of doing so then it is unlawful and the arresting party can be sued for kidnapping. Bob is the one who mentioned citizen's arrest, I discussed it with him. What was Zimmerman going to do when he got out of his car? He plainly said "These <insert whatever you heard> always get away" and pursued him to ensure he did not get away.

I only brought up the citizen's arrest because Zimmerman, and everybody else, has every right to potentially do so. I should have stated potentially in the beginning, because if not for being attacked by Trayvon, we don't know if Zimmerman was going to end up doing that, or just following him until he either tired of it, or the police arrived. So my bad about that.

The downside of making a citizen's arrest is that you open yourself up to a litany of offenses if you aren't judicial about it. So again, I think Zimmerman is eventually going to face some charges. I doubt, however, that any of them would be for murder.

I have read enough to know that nobody knows what happened yet you keep saying Trayvon attacked Zimmerman.

You continue to keep saying that like you were there, why is that?

What exactly are you basing this on because there are conflicting stories all over the place and Zimmermans story has changed several times.
