Then you agree Zimmerman needlessly put himself in harm's way instead of acting in a manner of self-preservation?

If you're suggesting that Zimmerman put himself in harms way by continuing to follow Martin, then you're acknowledging that Martin was a threat.

Did Zimmerman try to arrest him for nothing?

I'm pretty sure a lot of citizens' arrest occur after a concerned citizen follows a "suspicious" person.

Pretty sure? Can you put a statistical value on that? lol

It's basically your manager at Jamba Juice telling you to not attempt to take down thiefs who rob the $300 in your register.

It's more for your protection rather than legal advice.

No its not the 911 operator is a agent of the police and ignoring them will have legal ramifications.

If you ignore the manager of Jamba juice and get hurt during a robbery you lose the ability to sue for damages after the fact.

And lets not forget he ignored every rule of neighborhood watch organizations all of these things will go against him in a court case.

Wrong. Their job is to get as much information as possible to relay to the police. Not dispense legal advice.

They may choose to give common sense advice according to their real limited knowledge of the law, but it really carries no weight.

What the what?

How the heck did you get that from what he said.

Who should be considered more of a threat a guy walking down the street or the guy following him with a gun?

You don't know what the heck you are talking about 911 operators are trained to administer advice in a emergency situation.

You really are pulling shit out of thin air now.

Do you really think the operators are random people who don't give informed information to callers?

I'm not sure you know what harm's way means.

lol no they fucking aren't. Their job is to get information. Only.

But if you truly believe that, I suggest you drink a bottle of drain-o, then call a 911 operator lol

You are retarded.

You have no idea of what emergency operators are trained on or what there job entails.

If you guys are saying Zimmerman was putting himself in harms way by following Martin, then you're saying Martin was a threat.

Otherwise, Zimmerman wouldn't be in harms way by following him.

Try and focus. It'll make sense.

And yeah, turns out you're correct in that assumption, since as it turns out, Martin ended up attacking Zimmerman.

Wrong, Zimmerman acknowledged he was a threat. My POV has nothing to do wit this.

So if someone starts following you for no reason, you get scared/pissed/freaked out and something bad happens to the follower because rather than mind his own business he decided to harass someone, then you were a threat to start with?

Tell me more about this retarded form of logic. Does it have a name?

What proof do you have that Martin attacked Zimmerman?

Zimmerman could have easily attacked Martin and still received the same injuries.

Why are you making claims that have no facts to back them up?

Hey he knows for fact the Martin attacked Zimmerman so that tells you where his logic is coming from.

You are retarded.

You have no idea of what emergency operators are trained on or what there job entails.

I'm required to take first aid classes every year and cpr classes every 2 as part of my job. And I know for a fact that if you, or someone you know, swallows poison, you call a poison control center for advice. Not 911. You only call them to get EMS services.

There's a reason 911 operators are called "dispatch". Or "dispatchers". They send help, not legal or emergency advice.
