Purely speculation, but I don't think they'd be asking about clarification on manslaughter unless they decided not guilty on murder 2.

So it looks like they either find him guilty of manslaughter, or he's not guilty.

That's what I was thinking but not sure. Could mean anything.

Could mean that they are split and manslaughter may be a compromise of sorts.

Whatever it means I think it indicates a couple of things. I don't think they are willing to go Murder 2 but at the same time I don't think they truly believe he is innocent. I think it also shows that they are wanting to get the decision correct, in their mind.

Told you so comments aside, As a parent myself, I feel for the Trayvon's family. They lost their son. This was a horrible tragedy but the bottom line is the facts of the case didn't come close to supporting any sort of conviction. This wouldn't have ever been brought to trial if not for the wave of pressure. The prosecution had no real evidence. Bitter pill for the Martin family but legally this was the right decision.

I didn't think Murder 2 was going to happen but I did think that manslaughter was reasonable.
