Obviously they seem close now, but I dont think that was the case before this year. I could be wrong, but I thought Trump said he really didnt know Elon all that well prior to this year.

Not really sure what his post meant and I cannot read the NYT article, which is most likely bullshit anyway.

The reporters were trashing Matt Gaetz over the sexual assault thing. Graham comments that nobody should be "disqualified due to a media report", and then when reporters try to argue and say "it's an investigation by the DOJ" Graham circles back and then correctly notes they found no reason to "proceed forward with anything"

The case is not dismissed. It is alive and on hold until further order from the judge.

I think the best thing for Trump is to let the case continue so a verdict is made official by the judge so Trump can appeal the case and get it thrown out altogether. If the case is permanently adjourned then Democrats will always be able to claim Trump is guilty and only escaped punishment by winning the election. Maybe this is unimportant but this case was BS from the start. They convicted Trump on a charge he committed fraud to cover up an underlying crime and never stipulated what the underlying crime is! This is unconstitutional and need to be tossed out on appeal, and the appellate judges need to be firm reprimanding the prosecutor and judge in this case for political bias.
