Just imagine if Democrats win the White House again, and the senate. Then 2 conservative justices retire. Biden appoints two more justices to the Supreme Court, maybe even 3 if Sotomayor retires too. Democrats have a solid block of 5 against whoever the 4 conservatives are. What they did to Trump in NY will look like peanuts compared to what they will do if they know the Supreme Court will back them on there next lawfare endeavors. Then we will see conservatives convicted of treason simply for disagreeing with Democrats - and Democrat voters will cheer them on. If you wonder how a tyranny can replace a democracy, this is how it works.
When I read "1984" one of my first thoughts is how did the people let it get as bad as it was. We are witnessing the answer. Americans are not immune to tyranny. We are inviting it into our lives. Only once Democrats or the ruling party get full control they won't have to pander to the fringe voting blocks and those are the first people to suffer under the boot.

They are trying to push us to a civil war. The real war will start when this case is overturned. The left, who are 100% convinced Trump is guilty, will lose their minds when this is overturned. The plan is to have us in a civil war by November so there will be no election. This has all been orchestrated by the global cabal to take down this country so they can set up a one world government. The global cabal are the ones who run the deep state as well as the ones who control Biden. Once America is taken down it will be very easy for them to establish a one world government. This is all being set up for the antichrist to take control for 7 years. We are on the precipice of seeing the great tribulation(aka the time of Jacobs trouble and Daniel's 70th week) take place as prophesied in the book of Revelations. It is time for anyone who is not already saved to find Jesus because he is the ONLY answer and the only way to be saved from what is about to take place.

I believe we are on the verge of something. I do not think it is just coincidence that the military went woke and allowed all kinds of liberal freaks join the service and take leadership positions. The flushed the military of patriotic conservatives for a reason. I think the reason is if civil war breaks out they want to make sure the military is on their side and will not side with the patriots.
But I also think it is not really the war they want. It is the threat of armed conflict so they can impose martial law and begin confining conservative leaders. Make no mistake, what happened to Trump will be happening all of us who refuse to "bend the knee" to the socialist ruling class. This is just the beginning. They are openly celebrating what they did to the Jan 6 protesters and how they have shut down right wing protesting altogether by making examples out of the J6 defendants.
This election is not about Trump now. It is about stopping the oncoming tyranny before it is too late.

I don't disagree with this course of action. It actually makes sense but it does not address the problem. Democrats are using state courts to go after political enemies because there is little Republicans can do about it.
The fact is, the cheating on the election has already begun. They have branded Trump a felon in the middle of a campaign based on a phony prosecution before a corrupt judge and jury. If even 1 voter changes his mind about voting for Trump Democrats are guilty of election interference, the very crime Trump is accused of committing by paying Stormy Daniels.

I've been saying this for years. It started with Obama inexplicably firing numerous high ranking officers/generals/admirals and it's continued under Biden. 100% this is the reason, they want the military to be sworn to allegiance to whatever batshit crazy liberal is in office and not to the Country or Constitution.
Their oath says they will protect us against all enemies, foreign AND domestic. The Democratic party is a domestic terrorist organization, period who's #1 goal is to destroy this country. The Dems wanted to prevent any scenario where the military would have to help defend the people against a corrupt, Marxist regime.
The last piece to the puzzle is disarming the citizens. Once they do that, it's 100% game over.

I am sure they want to disarm us, but let's face it, half the country is going along with them. They have managed to create an enemy out of the other half and then convinced their half we are so evil we must be jailed, or worse. We are marching ourselves into the concentration camps. My cynical view is the half that wants this will never wake up. Their kids will find themselves in shackles one day and Orwell's "1984" will be their reality.

His supporters have always been enthusiastic, but this needs to convert to voter turnout. I suspect Democrats are going to cheat again in 2024 simply because they have so much to lose if Trump wins in November. Imagine Trump appointing an aggressive, fearless, MAGA prosecutor to AG. Imagine that AG cleaning house of all the Obama, Hillary and Biden sycophants. Then imagine staffing the DOJ full of angry vengeful conservatives looking for payback. Who thinks Democrats will allow this to happen? For them, this election is not about the future of the country, is about their own survival.

Sorry for another post about this but I keep reading everything I can from all sides on this Trump verdict. I knew it was coming because we all knew this jury would be completely biased against Trump. I don't think they ever considered the charges or the evidence. This was a case of he's Trump, therefore he must be guilty. That is exactly how the judge laid out the instructions.
Trump is going to appeal this and I have read a bunch of reasons for appeal, all are valid. I do not think the Manhattan appeals court will allow his appeal, and I think the state appeals court will just drag their feet until it no longer matters. They may keep him out of prison if Merchan sentences him as I expect he will, but they are not going to overturn his verdict before 2025. Of that I am certain. Trump needs to get this case to the Supreme Court, which is a difficult task considering the calendar.
I believe a jail sentence actually helps Trump with an emergency appeal. Keeping him from campaigning would give Trump good cause to make an emergency request of an expedited hearing by the SCOTUS, like they did for Bush-Gore in 2000. I believe the Supreme Court will vacate this verdict on multiple grounds, from civil rights violations to due process. I am hoping the court sends a strong reprimand to the lower courts, and judge Merchan for such a shoddy case and conduct during the trial. But the Roberts court has so far been unwilling to take a strong position on anything. My hope is they see how far the abuse of the legal system has gone and finally set things back in order.
One final point I will make, as bad as this is already, not just in NY, but also in DC and places like Fulton County Georgia, it will be much worse if the Democrats ever get a majority on the Supreme Court. Never, ever forget their willingness to toss aside propriety, the constitution and decency far exceeds the principles of conservatives. Simply put, they bring nukes to a knife fight. And they are willing to use them to get their outcome.

agreed, I think there is a lot of hoopla from the loudest and most ardent Trump supporters
most people have no clue about these cases other than concluding if there's smoke, there must be fire and that alone will cause enough people to stay away from voting for Trump
I have ZERO confidence enough of this countries voters will vote for Trump to give him the win
Even if you hate Trump, I believe you should vote for him in this election as a rebuke to the democrats and their horrific tactics and policies
My dream would be an overwhelming victory in both the popular vote and electoral college to send a huge message to the Democratic Party but it wont happen

I heard Alina Habba say in an interview that the expenses incurred an paid to Cohen while entered into the Donal J Trump revocable Trusts books, was not deducted as an expense for sate and federal taxes but Judge Merchon would not allow that to be entered as evidence
Has anyone else hear this and have a source to substantiate this claim?
This would eliminate the crime of tax fraud imo because the tax authorities cant disallow a deduction that was never taken and conclude it was a felony

Yes, this is true. But neither side entered evidence of tax fraud. I suppose because if the prosecution did, then the judge would have to allow Trump to bring evidence in rebuttal.
The judge also disallowed an expert witness on federal election crime. When Trump's attorneys insisted that the judge them provide clear, and precise, jury instruction on what constitutes a FEC violation, the prosecution objected and argued for a more summary explanation saying less is more! The judge sided with the prosecution.
These are all grounds for appeal, but the horse is out of the barn and the damage is done. Also, I don't think it mattered what jury instructions the judge provided, I think they were going to convict Trump before the trial began. I still think this will all become clear before long. They were probably told to hide for a few weeks but in time they will be on 60 Minutes, CNN or MSNBC gloating about what they did and hawking their stories for money. I am sure of that.
