The dumbest fans on the planet are Cowboys fans. I'm convinced of it after all the years of posting on these boards.

Terence Newman's lack of impact was front and center for years. Adding an additional 1st round corner as a compliment also provided jack and squat impact to the defense. Two first round cornerbacks on the field. No results.

You'd think even the biggest idiot in the world could figure this out by this point. Yet we still have geniuses coveting cornerbacks and wanting to invest big time for another.

Newman and Jenkins weren't busts. They're good players. They're just cornerbacks. They can't impact anything. Certainly not in today's NFL. Add five more, get the same results.

They're like the salt and pepper being shook over an empty plate.

I'm sure you thought you made a good point here. I'm still trying to figure it out.

Is Melvin saying because enough fans will still pay the higher costs I as a fan should think it's right? I'm not getting the logic.

Im saying if enough fans still pay the price, then none of the owners give a damn about fans like you who are priced out.

Wait....so NFL owners don't give a damn if they are shrinking their prospective buyers?

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say you're wrong. It's bad business. Those guys didn't get to where they are be being bad businessmen.

Read it again.. if enough fans are still buying tickets, and they are still hitting their goals, then they don't really care about the "little guys" who maybe can't afford tickets.

However, you were bitching for awhile about how the NFL has already priced you out of tickets to go to games, yet you suggested that the owners will certainly "raise the prices of tickets" or "increase the size of the pie" to cut their losses if they lose the CBA dealings. Yet now you say "oh the owners care about their prospective buyers so they won't raise prices higher".

Which is it?

Bottom line.. prices will go as high as the demand will allow. It has nothing to do with the CBA talks. If the average NFL fan is willing to spend 200 bucks for a ticket to a game every week, then that's how high the price will be. If enough people are still buying tickets at that price, the owners couldn't care less if there are some fans who can't afford it.

You keep focusing on game tickets. That's like a small portion of revenue.

Prices will go up regardless of the result of the CBA. But they will go up quicker if the owners lose.

So naturally I can't support the players. I don't even respect their importance to the overall health of the league. Spare parts. Get more and line up and play. You won't know the difference in a few years.

These bastard owners are actually trying to make the players go back to the 2009 pay scale.

Can you imagine that? How can they feed their families?

They are asking them to go back to the 2009 salary cap.. that's not the only factor in how much they are offering them though.

Show me something from someone with any sort of reputation that supports your belief that a win for the players will result in higher prices versus a win for the owners.

I know it won't, he will continue to ignore it or pretend that he is source enough.

I'm not ignoring anything. Just not wanting to keep on and on saying the same things.

The truth is I haven't heard anyone address that one way or the other. But I haven't exactly been following it either. I've turned a deaf ear and a blind eye to the whole thing.
