Parcells was the perfect walk around coach.

He could get guys to run through walls.

But he needed strong X&O guys, which he didn't have in Dallas.

I wish I could find the old article from back in the day that discussed him keeing Zimmer, where he said he saw a lot of Belichick in Zimmer. I ate that up when I read that. :lol

I miss being a homer some days.

Off the subject, but he looked like the most miserable human being I have ever seen at the Super Bowl coin flip.

There's no question he helped us a lot and we're still seeing the benefits of it today. Before he arrived this team was an absolute clusterfuck.

He is known as a miserable friendless bastard. That's his m.o.

A lot of us from the northeast have that problem.

Amazing? Really?

God damn, standards have really fallen to qualify for amazing.

Right- .500 now is considered an atrocity and utter failure.

But .500 with Parcells is success. Go figure.

But Jon Kitna going 5-3(could've been 8-0!) means something to you

Kitna posted good numbers on other teams as well too though.

He played decent for the team that half year. Wasnt great, but decent. The offense and the team didnt collapse with the loss of Romo, which is the point I have been trying to make to you toads that apparently is just over your heads.

When you consider the job BP was brought in to do, which was first and foremost to rebuild a college football squad into something respectful at the nfl level, I'd say he did a pretty damned good job.

Ive never been a fan of his coaching style.

Anyone that needs a refresher course in what the early to mid 2000s were like, no worries, we're on our way back to that mess.
