Glazer: DeSean Jackson Taunted by Skins

Jay Glazer tweeted that Landry and D. Hall taunted D.Jax before warmups Monday Night.

They mocked him getting concussed a few weeks ago by simulating pillow gestures and saying "night, night"..

I heard this as well.

So fitting that Jackson torched both Hall and Landry on that 88 yard reception.

Steve Czaben was speculating that it's a possible sign and trade, most likely to Chicago for Cutler.

Would make sense. Chicago is McNabb's hometown. I wouldn't see that being any much better for either team.

On the opening play! LOL!!! Jackson is a punk, but so are Hall and Landry. That is low, taunting someone for getting a concussion.

Angry Eagles accuse LaRon Landry of spitting, dirty play

Posted by Michael David Smith on November 16, 2010, 7:38 AM EST

After the Eagles finished whipping the Redskins on Monday night, several Philadelphia players said trash talk and dirty play from Redskins safety LaRon Landry motivated them.

Eagles center Mike McGlynn claims that Landry spat in his face twice during the game.

“Landry came and spit in my face, and that fired us all up,” McGlynn said, per Philadelphia Sports Daily. “We were looking to really put the afterburners on them. It’s good to see that we came out and score 60 points, almost. We all want to play the game with all the respect in the world, but when you’re disrespectful like that. . . . I just think there has to be more respect for the game than that. It’s a terrible thing, and we said, ‘Let’s just keep pouring it on them.’ ”

This is the second straight week that an NFL player has accused an opponent of spitting in his face: Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder said Ravens fullback Le’Ron McClain spat in his face during a confrontation last week, although the NFL said there was no conclusive evidence of the spitting. If Landry was caught spitting on tape, however, he’ll likely be heavily fined, and maybe even suspended.

But that’s not all that had the Eagles fired up. Eagles receiver DeSean Jackson, who suffered a concussion on one of the plays that led to the NFL’s increased emphasis on player safety this season, said Landry came up to him before the game and threatened to knock Jackson out.

“He brought up my concussion, and said, ‘I’m going to put you asleep again,’ ” said Jackson.

Landry’s comments led to a pregame skirmish, and some of Jackson’s teammates said Landry had gone way too far.

“Everybody trash talks, but there are certain things you talk about and certain things you don’t,” Eagles receiver Jeremy Maclin said. “In incidents where someone is really hurt, or life-changing incidents like that – you don’t talk about those type of things. Thirty was running at the mouth a little too much.”

So Landry got the Eagles fired up. And the Eagles’ revenge was displayed on the scoreboard.

Hmmm... spitting in a player's face, trash talking, and dirty cheapshots... sounds like a certain departed Redskins' safety.:hide

On a serious note. Spitting on a person and in their face in particular is as low as pussified as one can get. You'd be better off sucker punching a person than to spit in their face.

That reminds me of the last time I was at ES when someone posted that Laron reminded them of Sean Taylor..

Then another poster replied " Sean Taylor was too great to be mentioned with Laron, he should only be compared to Ed Reed and the other greats "

I'm not kidding and I haven't been there since....

Funny as to how great Taylor has become after he died. They've canonized him.

DeSean Jackson distraught after Reid chews him out

DeSean Jackson distraught after Reid chews him out

Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on November 29, 2010, 8:58 AM EST

DeSean Jackson was chewed out in front of his teammates by Andy Reid following Philadelphia’s loss on Sunday, according to Geoff Mosher of the Wilmington News Journal.

Jackson reportedly sat at his locker with his head in his hands for at least 15 minutes after the incident, and was consoled by many of his teammates. Reid’s frustration reportedly started with a “loose pre-game demeanor” in which he didn’t take pre-game drills seriously.

The deep threat also had a frustrating day on the field, catching only two passes for 26 yards. Jackson also appeared to have alligator arms on a late pass near the end zone. The Bears are experts at taking away the deep ball, and did a good job roughing Jackson up near the line of scrimmage.

Michael Vick was seen trying to help Jackson in the locker room, once saying, “C’mon, D-Jax, you’re my boy. I would never tell you nothin’ wrong.”

Vick later said in his press conference that he’ll “get the young guy together.”

Jackson’s production has been more up and down this year. Surely he wants more from this season before making a big contract push in the offseason.
