Yup.

I don't tell anyone I'm a Cowboys fan unless I'm asked, and because that usually comes with a lot of jokes these days, I don't even mention I like football unless I'm directly addressed about it.

Fuck Jerry Jones for ruining this for me.

When I first started my job in April I told one of my coworkers I was a Cowboys fan. He started laughing.

I'm like you, I don't tell anyone unless I'm asked. I have PTSD. I don't wan't to talk about it.

Garrett's book smart but he's clueless when it comes to football.

I had a physical science teacher my freshman year of highschool who was and still is the smartest man I've ever met. Coached offensive line and got the head coaching job when the head coach was fired. He was a terrible coach. I think he lasted one year.

In all seriousness, it is sad how much of a joke we've become.

There aren't many franchises left right now that can't point and laugh at us. It's not even about not winning a Super Bowl in 18 years or whatever it is, it's about the circus we've become in recent years.

It's bad enough that we've mastered the spectacular loss and choke job to everybody's delight, but then we have to do this with Jerry Jones as our owner constantly doing and saying shit that puts that awful spotlight on us even more.

It all started with the Romo fumbled snap in that Seattle game. Since then, we have lost games in the most unbelievable ways. The list just goes on and on with all of the different humiliating ways we've blown or lost games since 2006.

Before, I could always counter with the 5 Super Bowls thing when some jackass was getting on my nerves, but now? Shiet.....I'd rather not even get into that argument at all so it's best to just not let anyone know that I'm a Cowboys fan.

It's really sad. The only glimmer of hope I have is seeing how mad Jerry was after the Kansas City game. He was fuming and threw Garrett and the offensive coaches under the bus. When Jerry gets mad things change.

We had a great team when Parcells left. He took over control again and destroyed it. All we needed was a decent head coach after Parcells. He hires Wade Freaking Phillips who proceded to tear down everything Parcells built.

It's unreal the amount of potential he wasted in 1994 and 2006.

That is why I wanted them to go 5-11 last year. Flirting with .500 doesn't do anything but temporarily disappoint him, but not enough to cause any real change.

He'll make a minor adjustment here and there and tell everyone how we were so close to making it to the playoffs and how the Giants got in at 9-7 and win the SB...blah blah blah.

The only chance we have of ever getting real change from him is when the team hits rock bottom like it did after 3 straight 5-11 seasons.

By the way, that Kansas City game didn't bother him that much because he was on the radio the next day saying that we were underdogs so it was ok to lose that game.

Fucking idiot.

That's him being a salesman. I don't think he's that stupid.

I'd be perfectly fine with 3-13 this year. I was so pissed this past Monday. It will be a relief to not care and hope for losses. If we keep this up and the stadium is empty the last quarter of the season you can be sure that will light a fire under his ass.

And who in their right minds is gonna keep paying him $40 to park to see that crap? I barely even want to turn on the TV and sit through it at home.

That's where I am right now and it's nice to not be mad about their losses anymore.

You just have to accept the team for what they are and just hope that by some miracle, Jerry Jones wakes the hell up.

Until then, no success for us.
