It is. A regular over there will type something and there will be five people responding with "I agree!" and "Spot on analysis!"

Your rationale for homosexuality not being "natural" and therefore not to be allowed in a marriage setting was simply that it cannot result in procreation.
Neither can hetero relationships wherein one party is barren, has swimmers that don't swim, or hell marriage between old people.
People get married for all sorts of reasons, procreation has very little to do with it. Nor does inability to procreate make that loving bond "unnatural".
I don't buy the God being all around us watching us closely, protecting us bullshit. If he did, atrocities all over the world wouldn't happen. Why should I waste my time praying to some thing when there are people all over the world who have it 1,000,000 X worse than I do. If he or she lets them suffer then he or she will let me do the same and not give one shit.

Meh. I'm just not interested or engaged enough to bother debating religion or politics. Those, genuinely speaking, are two deep rooted philosophical beliefs individuals hold dearly. And quite frankly, I've never seen, heard, read, or otherwise witnessed one individual changing another individuals perception on a matter, regardless of how intelligent, lengthy, or mature the debate.
My sharing and discussing with you my beliefs on these matters isn't going to shake you to the core of your belief structure, and cause you to reconsider. Just as you sharing and discussing your views with me. Individuals are closed minded on these matters.

PS I used to say the same shit about gays, then I woke up and realized I had been brainwashed and was holding these opinions, not because they were mine - but because I had been told to hold them lest it offend the Lord.
It was through discussions such as these (online and off) that I changed my thinking.
Truth be told. I don't give a shit about anyones sexual preference.
It's the ones who parade around, openly flaunting their homosexuality, and making such a big to do about it that I don't like.
If you're marching down a city street dressed in assless chaps or dressed as a giant penis, then part of me is hoping an out of control semi-truck comes barrelling down said city street and takes you out.
