Jimmy has no reason to lie about it publicly, Aikman also could easily say "no, the story is correct" but he never has.

And even if any of it were true, it wouldnt change the fact that I believe Aikman was a better player than Romo has been so far, and that if I had a choice between Aikman in his prime or Romo that I would still pick Aikman.

Doesnt mean I think Romo stinks, rather it means I think Aikman was truly exceptional. Romo may eventually get to that level, but right now he is a notch or two below in my book.
