The reality is becoming that this years team is not much different from last year's team....we just got some better bounces against sf and Washington this year that we didnt get last year against Chicago, washington and the titans.

This really sucks.

Yep.

This team doesn't know how to win and has mental midgets at QB, HC and GM.

You guys act like stopping a team from getting the final points as difficult. It really is not if you have the 4th ranked defense.

Well I do agree championship teams get a stop there, at the same time brady is Brady. There is no one else like him and he is the ultimate weapon. The stop before the winning drive should have been enoug to win the game, but we cant run the ball at all and the qb now has a babysitter who will decide how much he gets to play before being sent to his room.

With the game tied the pats got the same stop we did, but they have Brady....we have an offense where half the guys can't lineup without the qb's help and again, now the head coach isnt going to let the qb play his game.

Not much has changed through a number of years.

What did they say about this after the game? I remember him hobbling off, but I thought he came back in.

kristie scales said he was in pain so severe he couldnt stand up, couldnt go to the 50 to shake hands and was helpe into the locker room. I have read this morning that it was back spasms that he said got worse...

he hurt it alot apparently on the xtra point at the end...

How do you know?

Was there an audible at the line?

I have never seen nor do I remember us using an audible to run a shovel pass.

We were down three guys on that play, looked to me garrett called something safe to try and steal a few yards for the kick and keep the clock moving.

He clearly did not want the qb to throw the ball to the other team. I also noticed alot more of wade wilson in romo's ear yesterday, I dont recall wilson being right on him like that all day, but that is completely subjective on my part because it could just be coincidence of when the cameras were catching them.

It just plain looks like garrett was babysitting the guy. Which when you are playing defense the way we were would have earned him a pat on the back by many who are complaining about it now, but the defense couldnt get off the field in the end, so they will now bitch about that too.

I didnt understand the whining last week and not one person gave me an answer that made sense other than we lost so it must be wrong, but with 12 minutes to go in the third up 20-3 we were throwing the ball and it worked well......so why bitch when up 27-3 and 10 minutes to go we are throwing the ball.......

same thing as yesterday, he was taking the ball out of romos hands and he did it consistently there at the end, which is fine. people can not complain about both things....You either want romo and garrett to be aggresssive trying to win using their best skills...passing the ball or you want to run the ball which we clearly can not do at all.

It's been said that Romo usually has two plays at the line. One pass, one run.

That was a pass.

Bob is saying Romo ran that play willy nilly. I'm not sure if he saying he drew the play in the dirt and ignored Garrett, or he thinks the whole offense accidentally ran a shovel pass.

It was a designed play and I never heard a "kill kill" at the line.

I think it's more likely Garrett thought he'd get cute inside the 5 like he did on Witten's earlier TD.

Yea I know, i wasnt directing that post at you. All teams with the exception of a few have audibles that can be called at anytime, they are usually particular to the formation and alignment along with down and distance.

I am just simply saying I think that was a called play and then run without a change like you are, I dont ever recall an audible to a shovel play ever. Doesnt mean it couldnt be, just have never seen it here.

I think garrett was just playing the game the right way, keep the clock going, run the ball and take your points to win.

would have been nice to have first and goal, yet kosier's holding took that away. And there is the problem with the team, its always something.

Defense got 3 turnovers(2 off Brady) and 3 sacks. Held the pats to 20 points...

Offense got 1 TD(Romo pass) and 3 FGs...

If u didnt watch the game and just looked at the 2 stat lines above about the Cowboys. Would you not have similar thoughts yours self? See below

Your first observation should be-damn we held brady to 20 points and got 3 turnovers(2ints) with 3 sacks and WE lost? What the Offense do? Oh um kick 3 fgs and have one solid TD drive-really?......against that shitty defense.

To be fair, the Spencer penalty was effectively a turnover, too.

Not sure I see the point of pitting the Offense against the Defense. The reality is, had we converted a first down when we needed one, we would have won. Had we stopped Brady on the final drive, we also would have won. We didn't do either, and we lost another close game to a good team.

I was implying that if all u saw was the stats mentioned u would have thought we won the game. The comment about the offense was easy to draw considering how bad new England's Defense was playing. I am not pitting them against each other, not my intent.

What the heck?

That was a great play call and a well designed play. Romo got the TD easily to Witten, and if you noticed Phillips was wide open for an even easier TD.

I liked the TD call to Witten.

What I mean is, Garrett has to get cute down near the goal line if he wants to get the ball into the endzone.

This team is shit when it comes to running the football. Everyone knows the only hope we have is throwing it. Those situations call for trickery.

The shovel pass, while in the same category, was a shitty call. And we ran it with Choice. Double fucked.

Getting "cute" really isnt an accurate description. They do have a better chance of scoring via the pass than the run though, so "smart" would be a better description I think.

There's nothing wrong with throwing down there if you execute. Jerry Rice probably had more tds inside the 5 yd line than any WR of all time. They ran tons of plays for him down there (many of them pick plays)

Wont argue with that. I hated the call too. I hate the whole idea of that play. I'd have just rather run some sort of draw or screen than that play.
