I'm more or less with you, dbair. Actually, I think the whole team played well today, and I don't have a beef with any of the three units or with the play calling or the Head Coach in general. It is amusing, though, that the defense gets a pass for coughing up end-of-the-game hairballs the last two weeks when the QB gets crucified for one or two bad plays in otherwise great games. It's definitely inconsistent.

The reality is, we're not as good as the Patriots, and we'd have been lucky to beat them at home. Shitting yourself because it didn't happen doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

I don’t know what game you were watching, the whole team did not play well. I think your Ryan hate is showing some bias here. The fact that they created a 3 and out with 3 minutes left, giving the offense a chance to finish the game somehow means nothing to you. Yes, the defense does get a fucking pass, they earned it. Played outstanding, more than we could have hoped for. Defense and special teams created 4 turnovers. That’s that thing. The offense plays like shit and it makes the defense look bad in the end.

Yep. Totally should have blown NE out in NE today. I know that's what I was expecting, which is why I'm so utterly confused by today's outcome.

I really think we should consider firing the coach because he relied on his running game and hoped his defense wouldn't crumble on the game-losing drive for the second time in a row. Outstanding? More than we could have hoped for? I don't know. I was sort of hoping for one more stop with the game on the line there at the end.

You have been very honest and open about your hate towards the Ryan family. As you have said before, you wish they were never born, whatever that means. So excuse me if i believe you are holding an unfair standard and bias towards Rob Ryan and the defense. What they did today was outstanding. They actually did create that stop you were hoping for. The offense did not take advantage of it. They needed to create first downs. They didn’t create a single one. I do find it amusing that you will not hold the offense to any standards. You don’t seem to have a “beef” with the #4 offense scoring 16 points against the #32 defense in the league. No “beef” at all. Interesting.

No, they dont deserve a "pass"

Again, they played really good, sometimes even great for 57 minutes, and with the game on the line they gave up a TD. Just like vs Detroit. Romo's bad plays in that game put the Lions back in the game, but the fact is even after the 3rd INT the defense was on the field, with a lead and lost the game.

It was a team loss.

The political correct thing to say is it was a “team loss”. It is in fact possible that one side was more at fault for the defeat/victory than the other side. I believe this is one of those situations. In fact the defense has out performed the offense much of the season.

If someone told me that the defense would create 4 turnovers and allow 20 points against the Patriots. Keep Tom Brady under 300 yards. I would take it in a heart beat. Now if you told me the offense would only score 16 points. I would believe they lost that game.

Clearly, the offense was to blame for the loss. If you want to lay a sliver of blame onto the defense, you can do that because both sides are joined together by the same jersey and decal.

Its clear to you and a few others who have an agenda, but for people looking at it from all anlges it isnt "clearly" on one side or the other. There is no rule on how many points you need to score to win a game, you only have to score more than the other team to win. And nothing you or a couple other doof's say changes the FACT that in the last two games, with a lead, the defense gave up a TD at the end of the game. Is this true or is it not true?

I'm somewhat surprised we only scored 16 points against them. I definitely thought after the Detroit game and getting a few guys healthier the offense would perform better vs New England. But we did have the lead. Romo didnt throw 3 picks this week. The defense only had to hold a team that they had controlled for basically 57 minutes to no more than a FG, and had the whole length pf the field. The pass rush on the last series was basically non existant, and the coverage in the middle was poor. They really cant say they were tired, because before that final series our offense had controlled the ball for nearly 9 minutes more than New England had it.

I'm actually starting to worry that Rob is going to blow a gasket.

He's literally had his unit playing at a 5-0 level and in every game thus far, the offense has shat on it.

How can any offense be this bad in the Redzone?

How the hell does Dez Bryant not get a single pass in his direction.

I saw one stat from Adam that had Dallas inside the NE a number of times for a total of 10 snaps. 10 snaps and Dallas didn't throw the ball into the endzone once. If I get inside the 10 yard line, you better send a fucking army to cover Dez Bryant.

Don't agree. I would have played it the same and hoped they could but there's no way in hell I come out of that situation and say, "well, ya didn't get it done for a full 60".

If the offense would have shown up for the first quarter and half or in any of those Redzone trips, the game is likely won. If Dallas finds a way to convert those Redzone trips into TDs, its an 11 point game at the end instead of three. Throw in choices fumble and you're taking another 3-7 off the board.

I know you can look at Hernandez's fumble and say the same thing but I think Choice has zero excuse for losing that. Poor security. Bradie ripped it from Hernandez whereas someone got a lucky hand on the ball and it popped free.

This game had all the potential for a blowout in Dallas' favor if they would have made the most of their opportunities but instead they made the absolute least of them.

You guys are fucking stupid if you think a shovel pass is a coache's call. That's a QB ad-libbing at it's finest.

I wouldnt agree with this at all, nor would I have expected it. New England is a good team.

We probably should have won the game, but saying it was set up to be a blowout isnt true at all.

I suspect Garrett might have called it, but like almost all the other play calls, it was 1 of 2 choices for Romo.

Alot of teams use that play inside the 10, I just dont like it for us when you have Witten/Austin/Bryant and even Bennett to throw to down there.

Face it, this team is made up of a bunch of losers who don't know how to win and rarely can make a play in crunchtime to ice the game.

What agenda are accusing me of exactly?

“you only have to score more than the other team to win.”

No offense, but more political correctness, coach speak bullshit. You have to be realistic too. With the way the rules are these days, you are not going to be able to completely shut down high powered offenses. I don’t think the defense will ever met your expectations. Your standards are just too damn high.

It's an 11 point game if they convert Redzone opportunities and if Choice doesn't give the ball away it would have been 14-18.

I'm not expecting 10 sacks and a shutout.

Its not unrealistic to expect your defense to close out a game if you have a lead. I'd take the same approach for the offense. If the defense does its job and gets the ball back to the offense late in the game with some reasonable amount of time, and they cant drive down to get points when they have to have them.

That is the play right after Nagy and bennett were injured and left the game. There was no bennett, no Felix, no Nagy.

Dez was one on on one just like det and the jets where he was thrown the ball, this time it looks like the head coach has decided he cant trust his qb to throw the ball and create a turnover, so we ran.

That last drive just spoke volumes about what Garrett thinks of romo. Looked like we were going to throw on third down until smith had the false starts......but in the past Garrett always throws the ball there. Even romo knew what was up in the post game pc, he said he understood it.

I am not sure which was to blame more but the offense in the first qtr was miserable and so was the defense on the last drive.

I would love to know why Bennett and choice after a bye week working on the game plan for two weeks don't know whee to lineup? and I would love to know why they would.continue to play choice.

One thing I do know now though is that even though I assumed we would lose and get rolling starting this next week, we now have new problems. The head coach just told the qb and everyone watching he doesn't trust him, Nagy is out for good, Felix is probably gone a month and ware injured his back...

The reality is becoming that this years team is not much different from last year's team....we just got some better bounces against sf and Washington this year that we didnt get last year against Chicago, washington and the titans.

With the world series playing game 4 at the ballpark at next Sunday and the team having as many problems as it now does the crowd is going to be awful and I wouldn't be surprised if we get q major letdown....

This really sucks.

You guys act like stopping a team from getting the final points as difficult. It really is not if you have the 4th ranked defense.
