I doubt Jimmy Johnson would have even wanted Romo as his QB.

"I watched the Giants game," Jimmy said. "Like everyone else, I couldn't believe what I was seeing there a couple of times with Tony.

"But if I were still coaching today, I'd want Tony Romo to be my quarterback. I know everybody is down on him right now, but I am 100 percent sure he can be a big winner in this league.

"Absolutely no doubt in my mind you can win what you want to win with Tony. He'd be my quarterback."

I think theyd put up more points.

Im also of the opinion only people who have nothing else to go on talk about leadership or some such noise. Is there a moment or game where Aikman could get something done that Romo wouldnt?

Im actually too young but I still think we would have been ok w/ Romo in that Bills SB.

I think Aikman was as good a pure pocket passer as there has ever been.

I don't think Romo is in that class. Romo has a special skill set, though. That's why I can't completely laugh off the possibility of him bringing more to the table.

5-7 years from now we may be able to make a better case either way.

I think this Romo gun-slinger/scrambler thing is overblown. He would love to just stand back there and sling it but thats not exactly how our OL rolls.

I don't see those things as negatives. His ability to create if he needs to is a huge plus to his game.

It also gives him a negative perception

Lol look at him scramblin hes all over the place so reckliss lol

He could throw as good a ball as anyone in the league. He scrambles b/c he has to. That shit dont fly in the playoffs against Tuck, Allen, Ray Edwards, Uminyiora, Strahan etc.

Let him at least drop back a full 5-7 steps consistently and I think hes as good as the 4 QB's in tier 1
