I'm disappointed because I really thought Romney would do wonders for the economy - something Obama seems to have no regard for.

I'm not naive enough to think either candidate would really positively impact my life or accomplish much to make this country better. I don't believe Presidents operate with the countries best interest in mind. They're puppets for special interest groups. But if you can turn the economy around or promote real job growth - and I'm talking real jobs - then I'll make the effort to vote for you.

I also really dislike the sense of entitlement Obama perpetuates, that the governments role is to provide for the underachievers like a parent provides for a 5 year old. That is not the fundamental philosophy that once built this country into the greatest in the world - which it no longer is, btw.
50% of American households get government assistance, 51% voted for Obama. Not surprising.

But you're right, neither party is really concerned about the country's best interest. They're only concerned with winning their next election.

What is the greatest country in the world these days?

China?

Russia?

Germany?

Hai guys.

I think we had a thread on that previously on this forum. A thread very much like the movie 12 Angry Men, where everyone, save me, raised their hand when asked if America was the greatest country. Given the opportunity to explain why America was no longer the best country in the world, one by one, people began to see things from my perspective, and in the end, all 12 of us agreed that America was in fact not the greatest country in the world. Except instead of 12, it might've only been like 6 of us. I'm not entirely sure we have 12 active members.

what a great day for America, and in fact, the world.

4 more years where we can really let loose and make some changes. I'm so excited.

I'd give the girl at the 49 second mark a good deep dickin for about 49 seconds until I rolled off her satisfied and contemplating how deep of a well I could dig in my basement to keep her forever and ever and ever.

And this could mean the end of the conservative Supreme Court.

And if the recovery keeps going as well as it has, democrats will probably keep the White House in 2016, too.

I mean things couldn't be looking any better right now.

Democrats will keep the White House in 2016. Exit polls indiciate the Republicans need to make drastic changes. And truthfully, I can't think of a potential R candidate that would invigorate the masses.

I know you love Obama to the point of trolling all day about it, but really, he's been a shitty President. For him to win two elections in such convincing fashion tells me that the D's will hold the house for a long time.

I don't really care either way. I just hope both parties can come up with strong, qualified candidates in the next four years. It's been 12 years since we've had a President worth a shit. This country is going down the tubes as a result. I dont' see an end in sight.

Republicans have completely alienated women and minorities.

Not a good move in a country where we are empowering women and where whites will no longer be a majority in a few years.

How do they recover and rebuild their image after getting in bed with and eventually absorbing/killing the racist-ass tea party? I have no idea, they probably just need to let enough time pass for people to forget.
