First time goodrich killed someone too.

As far as not rendering aid...

Wasn't there reports brent either waited unil someone promoted him to, or didn't at all?

They got to the scene and Brent was trying to get Jerry out of the car.

The Dallas Morning News interviewed Stacee McWilliams, an eyewitness to the crash scene. In a four-minute video interview, McWilliams described driving up on the scene of the accident shortly after the incident took place. She described the situation saying Brent had already exited the mangled vehicle and was walking around while Brown remained in the vehicle. Another person had stopped at the scene and already dialed 911.

McWilliams arrived seeing Brent in the street and didn’t realize there was another passenger still in the car. McWilliams then described hearing Brown call out from the vehicle for help with Brent allegedly unwilling to tend to his friend and teammate.

“Josh looked at me and he said ‘(Brown) won’t get out of the car,'” McWilliams said. “And I said ‘well you can’t just leave him in there and let him die, you’ve got to help him. Go get him.’ I commanded him several times and Josh looked at me again and he said ‘he won’t get out of the car’ and I told him ‘you can’t stand here and watch him die. You’ve got to get him out.’ He still didn’t move so I thought he wasn’t going to help at all.”

Ahem.

Dance around that and keep supporting the scumbag.

It was some girl who was mad that he was getting credit for pulling Brown of the car. He ignored her until the car caught on fire.

I am not trying to paint him as a hero. Brown was already dead.

It was so adorable when you called me judgmental earlier, jobberHos.

Midswat, it's a simple concept. If a Cowboy does it, it's okay and he deserves a second or fifth chance or whatever.

If it's another team's player, then they are scumbags and deserve the maximum sentence.

Basic stuff here.

I just don't get the hubbub over an average nose tackle. Sure our dline is JAG central, but are we really expecting a guy who hasn't played a down in well over a year to help?

So, how many good kids who don't kill people, beat women and sexually assault women but might only be mid to upper tier talent, don't get jobs in the NFL because we make little social reclamation experiments out of the ones who do?

My beef is, Brent had his chance and muffed it. Then he had his chance out on bail, and muffed that too by failing his piss test. Why should we think he's now gonna suddenly straighten up and fly right? He is a multiple DUI offender and substance abuse case, and not even a upper tier talent to start with.

Only what, 2500 or so people in the fucking world get to be on NFL rosters? That's a damned exclusive elite club and I think you should be fucking kicked out of it when you repeatedly show you don't give a shit about it - not enough anyway, to not be out partying, getting drunk and oh yeah killing somebody, the night before a road game?

Naw - call me any name you want but I do NOT support the idea of letting this fuck wear the star or any other NFL logo. He is taking up a roster spot of some good, decent young kid who doesn't get HIS chance because we're keeping these fucking criminals around.

Let's face it, he's coming back because he's better than the JAG we have at 1-tech right now.

If he weren't any good, or if we had a good starter there now, all of his shit about Jerry Brown's mother wouldn't mean anything.

For several years we at least made some effort to stay away from the bad guys. Looks to me like Jerry's getting desperate for wins and so he's saying bring in anyone and everyone if they can help us win.

Bad thing is some of these Jerry decisions are looking like a win in the short run, which will only encourage him. Which is bad news in the long run.

I'd rather not have a guy who killed a teammate on the roster but this one isn't a huge deal for me, especially if his teammates are okay with him.

It is Exhibit A for certain people's hypocrisy though.

Before we let this fuck wear the star, why don't we activate Michael Sam first and see if he can help us here? Last I heard, Sam hasn't killed anyone and takes this seriously enough not to be out getting drunk the night before a road game.

Take a look at what the University of Texas coach is doing - NINE players kicked off the team due to their character issues. College football is a exclusive elite club too and there's no room for these fucks.

She was a witness. And he wasn't providing aid to the victim. Which was your litmus for Goodrich.

I am not trying to paint him as a hero. Brown was already dead.

How could you possibly know whether Brown was dead at that point?

Stop. Just admit you got exposed and move on to the next "debate."

NEVER!!!!

No retreat, no surrender.

Also, no reason or logic. These are the teachings that have been bestowed upon us.

Because the reports from first responders was that he was unresponsive when they got there and pronounced him dead on arrival. IOW, I can read reports.

He ignored her and waited to pull Brown out until the car caught on fire. Goodrich drove off. The charge is 'failure to render aid' not render aid in the manner random woman thinks best. She had no authority and while she can be indignant that Brent ignored her, she can go fuck herself for all that is worth.

Let me give you a hint: if you come up on a car accident where there is someone in the car that is unresponsive and does not appear to be in any more danger, don't pull them out of the car even if random dumbass says to do so. if they have a spinal injury you could cause more harm. Call for help and wait unless forced to act by circumstance for example the engine catching fire.

And is that a thing around here? To make what seems like a valid argument and then posture that there can be no more argument?

What a douche.

First responders stated that he was unresponsive when they got there. Maybe pulling him out of the car like that finally killed him.

Point is that just because she said to pull him out of the car doesn't mean that was the best course of action or that Brent should have listened to her.

I also like how you ignored the question about whether or not you had drank and drive.

Kind of speaks to your veracity. I still say Brent should join the Eagles and talk shit about his old coaches and teammates.
