No worries.

I hear they have a WR that is so good, his talent alone should easily cover this minor problem.

Always thought that similarly to LaMarr Woodley, he'd have been a much better fit with a 3-4 team. Not sure what Andy Reid was snorting with this one.

Eagles looking for veteran defensive end

7/18/2011 4:29:14 PM | More

The Eagles are planning to hit the free-agent market to look for a defensive end according to Pro Football Weekly. With the news that DE Brandon Graham (right knee surgery) likely will not be available to start the season, expect the team to target a veteran pass rusher. Plus, the new salary cap — and floor — likely means the team will have the ability to pay for some talent.

Update: Vince Young has reached deal with Eagles

Report: Vince Young wants to play in Philly
Posted by Mike Florio on July 28, 2011, 8:14 PM EDT

The Eagles need a backup quarterback. Quarterback Vince Young needs a job.

Sometimes, it’s just that simple.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Young is interested in joining the Eagles. Some around the league believe that the Eagles are the favorite to land Young.

And just like Mike Vick expressed a willingness to welcome Brett Favre is a backup, Vick has no qualms about Vince Young joining the team. “It would be good for Vince,” Vick said, via PhillySportsDaily.com. “I don’t know how true it is, but I think it would be a great opportunity for Vince to come in and learn. We’ll see.”

Young has no experience in the West Coast offense. But we’ve got a feeling based on what Reid has done with every quarterback he’s every coached that he could get the most out of Young.

Which could be downright scary for every team the Eagles play.

lmao.. well we don't have to worry about the Eagles this year if Vick's injured. If Vick goes down, they're toast.

You underestimate Young. He might not be the best QB but he wins games.

Wrong, the players around him, defense and special teams win games. He's just been along for the ride.

I cant wait to see this bonehead trying to learn Reid's offense.

You think McNabb isn't that great a QB but you think i underestimate Young? Haha.. not suprised.

Young is garbage.. he has a 1 Td/Int ratio, a career 75 QB rating, and a completion percentage of 57.8. But yea, he's a great QB..

What talent did he have on that offense? No WRs, no TE and a primadonna RB. Stop looking at his stats and try to watch some freakin games, botard.

So Kenny Britt is suddenly some great talent at WR that every team would covet if he hit the FA market? Nice one, botard.

You said he had no WR's.. you were wrong. And if Kenny Britt hit the open market he'd have plenty of suitors out there to be honest. He's one of the best up and coming young receivers out there.
