sbk is just trolling for a reaction.

Either that, or he uses lead based paint as salad dressing.

That's the thing.. no one EVER agrees with you. About anything. lol

Why don't you go ask the Eagles veterans who they'd rather have?

Off the field stuff aside, Dez has been a good teammate so far and i have yet to hear of any veterans on the team being upset with him in the locker room, in meetings, or on the field.

Can't say the same about your boy Desean.. who'd rather spend the NFL workday texting his agent than paying attention in meetings.

Dez has been a lousy teammate. He refused to carry Roy's bag.

Wait? What? Are you serious? He actually said that? LOL. Holy ****, credibilty COMPLETELY BLOWN!~!!!! That is too funny, and completley MORONIC.

Uh yeah. Where you been at? He hates CBs as much as he loves Parcells. LOL. At one time I believe he even stated that Trent Cole was the best pass rusher in the division, even better than Ware. Since then however, he has downgraded Cole to being "underrated".

You could literally start a thread with sbkisms. Those being the ridiculous to borderline retarded comments he makes, while suggesting those who disagree are "homers" and are "laughable."

What was once a good poster is now nothing more than a pompous troll.

He's like our tr1.

Wouldn't suprise me if Jackson plays less than 12 games this year.

Say what you want about these workouts, and the lack of significance, impact, etc.... you need to use this time to build a foundation for your body to build on and carry you through the season.

If he's not preparing for the season, then his 150lb frame is going to get destroyed.

It's only a matter of time before he starts breaking down anyway. One-trick-pony.

Hopefully, it's against us where we put him out of his misery. :thumbsup

I bet if Spagnola called Jackson the best WR in the divioson, SBK would start following him on twitter.

Sick burn.

Wasn't really going for a "burn", but I have noticed that you will bash a writer unless he agrees with you...in which case you will use that writer as evidence of your superior football intellect and flawless player evaluation skills.

Kevin Kolb works out with Eagles, still wants to be traded

ESPN.com news services

Quarterback Kevin Kolb joined his Philadelphia Eagles teammates in informal workouts Thursday for the first time during the lockout. Whether they'll be his teammates once the lockout ends still is up in the air.

Kolb, who has requested a trade from the Eagles so he can be a starter next season, told reporters that coach Andy Reid told him in a text message: "I'll do what's best for you" once the lockout ends.

Reid said earlier this month that the Eagles didn't have any serious talks with other teams regarding Kolb before the lockout.

"You have an idea of who's interested in quarterbacks, but you couldn't do any deals then. You never got to that point where it's real serious; it was too far in advance," Reid said, according to the Philadelphia Daily News. "And you can't talk at all now. So, if he ends up going somewhere, more power to him, he deserves that opportunity. But I also like him here."

Kolb said it's been "pretty tough" dealing with his uncertain future but that he has "voiced my opinion. There's nothing else I can do."

He began last season as the Eagles' starter but left the first game with a concussion and ending up losing the No. 1 job to Michael Vick, who enjoyed a career resurgence in 2010.

Kolb, taken by the Eagles in the second round of the 2007 draft, said becoming a starting quarterback again remains his goal.

"It's a big deal to me," he said. "That's the next step for me. That's what I look forward to doing."

He told reporters that he's keeping a positive attitude and will be ready whether he ends up being traded or remains in Philadelphia this fall.

"Whatever happens, I'll be ready to roll," he said.

Eagles GM puts NFC East on alert; says team will be aggressive in FA....

Rainer Sabin / Reporter

Earlier this week, Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman made a bold proclamation that the Cowboys' NFC East rival would be aggressive in free agency because the team believes it can make a run to the Super Bowl.

"I think there are going to be a lot of opportunities in front of us, players looking for short-term deals who want to win a championship," Roseman told Michael Silver of Yahoo! Sports. "Any good player that we think can help our team, we're going to take a hard look at."

Roseman could have been posturing with his blustery comments in an attempt to create panic among the Eagles' main competitors. If it were indeed gamesmanship, then the goal seems obvious: Forcing the Eagles' divisional opponents -- yes, the Cowboys -- to consider pursuing superfluous acquisitions they would otherwise abstain from making.

Right now, the Cowboys haven't made their intentions known, although it seems obvious that, at the very least, they will have to sign a safety when the market opens. In April, however, the team's executive vice president Stephen Jones refused to provide any hints regarding the team's plans for free agency.

"Certainly we will be looking there," Jones said. "If we can help our team, we will do it. We are going to try to improve our football team."

But Jones didn't provide many details when explaining how the Cowboys would carry out that plan.

"You have to tell me the rules first -- what system we are going to be in, then we can identify [players]," Jones added. "We have certainly done a lot of hard work, and depending on what system we may be, whether it's four years to free agency or six years to free agency. We don't know that yet. When that happens, we will identify the players we think will help make us the best team, and we will go from there.

"We have guys we like. I wouldn't say there is one guy in particular. We have guys. We have guys on this team. We like players on this team that we would like to re-sign. We have players, depending on the system, that we have identified, if they are truly free agents, that we would like to look at. Obviously, we can't speak to any of that until things are resolved as far as our business is concerned."

But the uncertainty of the NFL's labor situation hasn't stopped Roseman from discussing the subject of free agency. Whether there was an ulterior motive behind his remarks is unclear. There is a reason, however. Roseman wouldn't have broadcast the Eagles' plans unless he wanted somebody or some team to know their intentions.

That sounds like, at best, a retarded fan conspiracy theory.

I really don't think that the Eagles are making those comments because they think it'll force the Cowboys, Giants, or Redskins to sign players they otherwise wouldn't.

So last year and the years before they didn't believe that they could make a run to the Super Bowl?

I heard rumor of Rodgers-Cromartie being packaged in a trade for Kolb.

Also, I fear Vick in a short season where defenses aren't fit and ready for his athleticism.

Eagles Akeem Jordan arrested in Virginia

Akeem Jordan arrested in Virginia

6/20/2011 6:18:35 PM | More

Pete DeLea of the Daily News Record reports Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Akeem Jordan, a Harrisonburg native and former standout on the James Madison University football team, was arrested in connection with an incident in Harrisonburg early Sunday and charged with misdemeanor assault and battery, according to the Harrisonburg Police Department.

Details of the case are murky and it's not clear where Jordan, 25, was arrested or what specifically led to his arrest. According to an HPD report, the incident occurred in a parking lot on Evelyn Byrd Avenue. He was released on his own recognizance earlier today.
