I still pull for him during games, but it went from "COME ON ROMO KILL 'EM" to "COME ON YOU WEAK MOTHER FUCKER DON'T FUCKING CHOKE THIS TIME!!!"
What do you yell when the defense is on the field?

"I'm coming" to head out as I turn off the TV because I know theyre going to blow it...

It was after I think the 2009 season, there was an article how he had never won anything, gotten to championship games, but never really won, not even on the high school level...

Really paying attention to Romo completions, seldom is it the receiver doesn't have to slow down, stop, or otherwise adjust to the errant pass.

No doubt when one of Romo's so-so throws gets completed and the TV talking heads say "whatta pass by Romo" you're not looking to see it's actually, "whatta adjustment to the poor Romo pass" because it happens that way more than the other, most of the time.

Most of Romo's successes are just 90% dumb luck.
Good lord. You don't dumb luck your way into completing 65% of your passes in the NFL. Do you even watch games bro?

NFL on ESPN ‏@ESPNNFL 42m
Since 2006, @DallasCowboys Tony Romo's 20 fourth quarter comebacks is 2nd only to Peyton Manning (21).

Blind luck. His receivers must adjust better in the 4th quarter.

It's kind of crazy that ESPN has been publicizing Romo's 4th quarter stats so much lately since they're probably "shit on Romo" perpetrator number one.

I guess it takes more time for emotional fans to be brainwashed into whatever ESPN is saying at the moment. Took a few years for ESPN to convince them that Romo was a choker.

With the moron schtick, childish comebacks, and random gay smilies, this guy has a serious cr122 vibe.

Odd dichotomy around here, i.e. fans/realists who otherwise have no use for Jerry or the team yet have a soft spot in their hearts for Tony. The next big battle will be over his legacy.

Tony is no different than any top flight QB in this league not named Tom Brady. If Brady is the measuring stick, yeah, Tony isn't measuring up.

But if you think you'd get different results with a Brees, Rivers, or either Manning, you're out of your mind.

Jesus Christ.

Are we talking about Tony Romo or Chad Hutchinson?

that's always the issue with tony detractors

they can't help but go all hyperbolic (because they really have no point)

he has faults. surprise!

I just have Romo fatigue and will be very happy when he is in Cleveland, backing up Manziel.

Like it or not he is the face of the franchise. The face of failure and mediocrity. The face of 8-8, 8-8, 8-8. The face of the fumbled extra point snap in Seattle. The face of many other game losing gaffes. It's nine years of this same shit and I am ready for it to be over.

He's not a quarterback God like so many paint him as. He's just a kid from nowhere who never played on a winning team who got in the big league and did very well - for himself. No matter what else the rest of the team does, good or bad, people just never want to lay any of the mediocrity or failure on Romo in any way. But he's the daddy of this, the last nine years. He is the face. I am sick of him already. Have been for a long time.

Nothing's ever his fault, no no not poor Tony, the 50 million dollar man.
