Yeah just awesome.

"When Roger retired, I cried.
When Troy retired, I cried.
When Romo retires, I'll give a cheer." -- Longtime faithful female Cowboys fan.
Exactly what I'd expect from a female.

But, he doesn't. We're not talking about overall, we're talking about the big games. He chokes almost every time.
Again you're talking about overall and I am not. I don't give two shits about miracle comebacks in September, or clutch drives in October. I am talking about when the chips are down in big games. He is a huge loser in that situation, very reliable bet for choking..

Are big games only in the month of December?

In a 16 game schedule, every game is crucial, like it or not. This isn't baseball or basketball where you can coast and turn it on when it matters.

I'm not denying he's made his fair share of wtf plays in do or die games, but he's also played big in others. I mean shit, the last throw you or anyone saw from this guy was a TD pass in a do or die game, for fucks sake.

Romo has to take risks because the defense can't stop anyone late. They may not have always been the worst defenses in the league, but late in games, they've been awful for years.

This is my main argument. That and Garrett not controlling the clock and making questionable play calls (He is either coaching it or allowing it to happen).

Why did he have the game he did in Washington last year
You mean in week 16, when the defense stepped up and held Washington to a 3 and out with a minute left? It was 14-6 Dallas at half. Two bonehead Romo picks in the 3rd quarter led to 14 Redskins points. The defense held them to just three points in the turnover free fourth quarter. What, for once Romo does his job in the fourth quarter of a must have game setting up the do or die game vs. Philly next week, and that proves he's not a choke machine?

And it never ends. Just like the Romo chokes in big games will never end.

When you do turnovers in the 4th quarter, and three and outs in the 4th quarter, it's hard for any defense to stop anyone in the 4th quarter.

Blame the defense. That's the ticket.

Those stats aren't his overall stats... they're situational stats and show the stigma that he's unclutch or a choker is just confirmation bias.
One playoff win in eight years. Confirmed.

Several big games pissed away on late picks or fumbles. Confirmed.

Where's this 3 and out stuff coming from?

Romo has been historically great on 3rd downs his whole career. Last year was really a weird year where we were terrible on 3rd down and had a lot of 3 and outs.

You seriously need to read the long post. It obliterates your argument. It's about his stats in close games late in those games and compares him to his peers. He routinely tops the best QBs in the league in those situations.

The Denver game last year was on the NFLNetwork recently. Romo came back over and over again and the defense kept surrendering quick scores. Yes, Romo threw yet another critical pick at the end of the game but that was a great play by Danny Trevathan. He threw for 500 yards, 5 TD's, and brought us back from a 3rd quarter 15-point deficit. If the defense made a single stop down the stretch, Romo would have never been in that position.

I know the message board/internet causes everyone to be extremists, this side or that side. I'm not excusing Romo. I'm just saying he's at most, the 4th biggest reason for why this team loses.

It seems to me you are forgetting that the defense constantly puts Romo in a come-from-behind, obvious passing situation in the 4th quarter. That and Garrett's refusal to run the ball and protect leads.

That Denver game is what his whole career has been. Put his team in a position to win, defense gives up late score, he comes out and either wins the game or loses it.

But he always loses it, except he doesn't always lose it.

You're phrasing it all janky. He didn't even throw two picks like you said so w/e
