My dad never had that discussion with me...
My dad called me a fag at one point when I was in like 5th grade. That stung.
BTW I think kids should figure that stuff out on their own. Like everyone else, their parents are going to have their own biases too.
It's different than needing to talk to them about staying away from drugs and alcohol, smoking etc. Gay and straight shouldn't be a big deal to them.
Unless they're gay, then you beat it out of them.
So how'd your dad take it when you came out of the closest?
It's hard to sound anti gay about it, but I wouldn't want my kid to be gay. That's not to say I wouldn't support my child, I just think opening them up to that stuff at an early age could be impressionable.
That's not really how sexual orientation works though.
If two gays deliberately stop to make out while I'm eating with my family they're both getting their asses kicked.
We double teamed your dad.
That's not really how sexual orientation works though.
I appreciate the cleanse I get after eating there. Whatever oil they use sets a time bomb to t-minus 30 minutes. Damn good food, I just can't eat it without proper planning to evacuate my entire digestive tract a little while after.
lol
I just ran this question by my wife. She said she would tell our daughter that the two gays like each other.
So now we're in an argument about how we're going to address this if it ever happens.
Depends on the kid. Doesn't it?
If I tell little jimmy that it's okay to like his friend Timmy, you don't think he'll at least consider sucking dick for a living?
At that age, kids like their friends. If Dad told me boys can like boys, first thing I'm thinking about is shacking up with my buddy and combining our legos and hot wheels collection.
