for the record the people of texas let the government do whatever they want. Its one of the problems here.

There is already gun registration to a degree. That was step one in allowing the govt to be able to attempt to confiscate guns. This started many years ago. This isn't a Sandy Hook thing.

And, you're I'm not sure where you are getting your information from, but Texas doesn't let the govt do anything they want outside of the normal state to fed nod.

the best part about all of that is they vote against there own stringent beliefs in almost every election without even realizing it.

I have friends who are republicans when they vote and they all hunt, with a rifle and with a bow. They are all for some form of gun control laws so that the people with the automatic weapons dont ruin it for them.

Simple laws to make things better for everyone. They dont watch fox news or listen to glenn beck though so they are civil and rational. there is a stark difference in those who do and dont when these things come up.
