Correct, Jerry was here. However, in those days, Jimmy Johnson ran the draft, so Jerry doesn't get credit for those picks. Jerry's HUGE EGO cost us an excellent coach and Jerry has proven over the years that he has no idea how to draft...

Winner.

He's the worst thing ever to happen to this franchise.

Because Jerry had no input in personnel at the time. None. Zero.

I mean, if you're even only mildly retarded you can still figure out that you can't build a dynasty and then suddenly preside over the worst collection of draft classes for an entire decade.

He doesn't get the credit because he doesn't deserve any. I don't even give him credit for Larry Allen. He was working off of Jimmy's scouts and their notes that spring.

There simply isn't a GM in this league who is worse at evaluating talent. Probably because most of the GMs are real and legitimate. They have a background in it and have done well enough to advance to that position, while Jerry Jones simply paid his way in.

Of course. You were there. Just shut up and go back to doing what you know best: being the uptight and angry repressed man-loving and Parcell's tit-latching bitch.

A lot of us here aren't big fans of Jerry.

Jerry is a great oil salesman, but don't know shit when it comes to being a GM for this football team.

I think it's just hypocritical and intellectually lazy to append all the bad talente evaluations on Jerry, and none of the good.

He's made some good evaluations, but not a lot of good ones JMO.

Look how our talent is on the offensive line and at the safety positions, no depth and we still have question marks.

And yes, I'll admit Parcell's was horrible at drafting offensive linemen.

Now, if Church and McCray pan out then it's a different story there.

Jimmy was real good in Miami. Built a pretty nasty defense there. His mistake was sticking with a declining Marino. He also wasn't there for every long. Unlike Jerry, who has tried this GM thing for 16 years to the tune of epic fail.

Comparing the two is idiotic.

Really? A nasty defense? In the four years he was with the Dolphins, his defense was ranked in the top 10 and top half of the season but ONE TIME. In '96 and '97 he had the #17 ranked defense, in '98 he had GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE with that crap.

The only decent draft pick Johnson had with the Dolphins was Jason Taylor.

Nobody hits on draft picks all the time.

No. I wasn't there.

I just graduated from high school. So I figured it out.

But I'll play the ****** game.

Now you tell me how Jerry put together a dynasty and then suddenly couldn't find any players for the decade after Jimmy left.

Chop chop and spell check.

They had one of the better defenses for years because of Jimmy.

I suppose Zach Thomas was a bad draft pick. Patrick Surtain, Daryl Gardener, Sam Madison. All bums.

And you only "graduated" because you reached the maximum age allowed ot be in school: 20.

Who you kidding? You are not playing. It comes too natural for you.

And what dynasty did Johnson put together in Miami? And why a decade? Cherry-picking to protect man-tits?

I asked you a question. You will answer it or it's an epic fail.

Convince us how Jerry was a part of picking players to form the dynasty and then immediately couldn't find any the moment Jimmy left and for the ten years after.

Then I'll deal with your retarded comparison of Jerry here and Jimmy there. As if Jimmy was a Jerry Jones like flop in Miami.

Zach certainly. But Surtain and Madison came into their own AFTER Johnson left and under Wannstadt. And Gardener wasn't shit. The most sacks he ever had in a season was 5. He damn sure wasn't worth a 1st rounder.

They were good players from the start. Naturally they got better after. That's what players do when they reach their prime. That's why these Cowboys players are better now. Not because of the fat waste of space head coach. Because they simply gained experience and matured physically. They're in their prime.

Gardner was a run stuffing DT. That's like saying Ware sucks because of his INT total.

Jerry likes to go for the big name on draft so he can see his name in the papers the next day, or trade away all our premium picks for lower round picks that don't pan out.

We apparently were really high on Max Unger and the Seahawks beat us to him. Ok, that happens, but explain why we were also apparently high on Phil Loadholt we didn't just take him instead of trying to get cute and trade down again and again so other teams could beat us for him too? It would be kinda nice to have Loadholt at RT right about now, wouldn't it?

This annual trading town tradition absolutely pisses me off to no end. Jerry just likes for everyone to see how he can wheel and deal. Idiot.

That's what it is. Hey, look at me....I'm a GM.

He has no plan. No vision of what a successful football team looks like. He's simply not a personnel guy.

He's a fraud. I attribute none of any success we've had here to him.

Now Loadholt would of been a great pick for us. If we don't draft lineman in this next draft I'll go nuts.
