You would have traded up as they were on the clock?
I would have traded up when I saw how things were playing out. They should have traded up for Donald.

Think the thread title is lame. This isn't a mediocre draft.
Who is this wvyrm poster?
Not retarded, and knows the truth about this team. Refreshing.
Hitchens will be the future will backer and Carter will move to sam, at least that's what's being said.
Carter is not being moved. Hitchens was drafted to back up Sean Lee in the middle.

Rounds 4-7 are all fucking Bullshit anyways. Its hit or miss... Nobody on this board has a clue, fuck, teams dont even have a clue on those guys
The top 100 picks are the premier ones. For this shit franchise to keep tossing premier picks to the wayside is a mistake we cant seem to stop making... This team doesn't get, what the Fuck else is new?
I don't like the 4th rd pick but honestly don't know anything about him. I knew about his teammate Kirksey and liked him for us, but knew nothing about this guy.

If he rushes the passer the way they think he will, the trade up will be well worth it. If he doesn't then the trade was awful. I do like Lawrence as a player though and am very glad we got him.

I really like Devin Street, especially where we got him. It made sense to use all those 7th rounders on defense and we got players from big schools who were productive at their positions there. With the exception of Gardner (torn pec, but reportedly will be 100% for offseason workouts) I didn't see any guys who had any injury concerns. Many of the guys we picked were team captains, which I also like because this team lacks leadership skills badly.

Chris Whaley was a nice get, but I read he will probably be IR'd and stashed for this yr due to an injury he had at Texas. South Carolina OG Ronald Patrick is also interesting. A couple of the WR's we signed were considered some of the better UDFA WR's available. TE Jordan Navjar started out at Stanford but transferred because of all the talent ahead of him there, but is big and considered a quality blocker. Maybe he earns a spot as the 4th TE or beats out Hanna as the 3rd TE if Copeland makes the team.

I wont be surprised if all 9 picks make the team and the first two picks obviously walk in here and start/play major roles from day one. Gardner and Bishop probably arnt starters this yr but both could end up rotating in on games days and playing roles. The Oregon CB seems like a good fit as a zone CB and made a lot of plays in college. He had a mediocre 40 time at the combine but I read he improved greatly for his pro day.
