You could bring back Vince Lombardi from his grave to coach the Dallas Cowboys and he would have zero impact as long as Jerruh Jones is GM/ Owner. The Dallas Cowboys are a dysfunctional organization grossly inept and will never sniff a Super Bowl as long as JJ is owner. The real fact of the matter is JJ is all about the money. He doesn’t give a rats ass about winning a Super Bowl His record proves this is so! If I were Mike McCarthy or any player whose contract is expiring, I would run from that organization as fast as I could. The door would not have a chance to hit me in the ass!

I think it depends. There's been times over Jerry's debacle 3 decade reign when we've actually had really good rosters, and the lousy coaching was a downfall.
Your comment makes it sound like coaching doesnt matter at all, and it does. What you underestimate is just how BAD the coaching has been since Jimmy left. (and that too, falls on the idiot owner/GM)

As a former high school coach great coaching is essential to success. I am sorry you misread my comments. In the case of the DC organization the poisonous culture that Jerry Jones has created where players are not accountable to the coach is directly responsible for the lack of playoff success since the last Super Bowl victory in 1996. This has been proven over the last 28 years. The only time in the history of the JJ era where there was succes is when the coach called all the shots and the GM cut the checks. Yes the coaching could be better no argument there, but as long as JJ is GM there is no coach on planet earth that will come close to sniffing a Super Bowl until that man either sells the team, dies, or fires himself as GM. Of those three scenarios we already know the only one that will definitely happen. Then we have to pray that Spawn will operate in a different manner and that’s probably wishful thinking. If I sound a little bitter it is because I am. JJ has taken a little fandom away from each and every one of us because of his ego. The man is in it for only the money. I no longer look forward to the football season because we are continually being served up the same ole pile of shit. You know it, I know it, we all know it. You have strong opinions and so do I.
