Myles Garrett has just publicly requested a trade from the Browns, and they reportedly will have bidders.

Posting this for comparison purposes, but this is what the Raiders got for Khalil Mack when they traded him.

Putting this here because we probably could expect at LEAST this for a potential Micah Parsons deal, although Garrett now being on the market might water it down a little.

I'm sure it won't happen and Jerry/Spawn probably wont even pick up the phone, but imagine Parsons and Myles Garrett on the same DL.

Garrett has two yrs left on his current deal with base salaries of only 1.255 mils and 1.3mils (he has something called option proration that brings his cap charge both yrs to right at 20mils total, but I don't know if Cleveland has already paid that).

Coming up with the comp package to get him would be tricky, as we'd almost assuredly have to part with two 1st rd picks minimum. Garrett would probably insist on a contract extension as well, but that also gives him some leverage in where Cleveland would ultimately trade him. I doubt anyone is going to trade multiple picks to get him without knowing they can keep him long term.

Parsons went on record towards the end of this season stating he didn't care to be the league's highest paid defensive player and was more inclined to do a deal which would help the Cowboys acquire more talent. Maybe it was BS lip service, but if true then he'd probably jump at the idea of adding a player like Garrett.

Fun to think about.

Preach it Emmitt!
Send them Parsons and Dak and collect their next three first round picks and keep ours and collect Garrett.
Now now. We ALL know Dak has a "no-trade" clause & just received his extension being in Jerry's eyes, is the Mahomes for Dallas.

Doesn't mean he can't be traded. Means he has to CONSENT to the trade. Just like Russell Wilson we still pay him out but if he agrees to the deal we restructure him and pay most of it upfront now and the team that gets him pays veteran minimum.

Anyone that gives an average at best player a record breaking deal with a no trade clause should be shot on the spot

All the good work they have done putting a really solid looking staff together is going to be wasted again.

They just don't come any more moronic than Jerry when it comes to football decisions. The pure definition of insanity.
