This is completely off the subject but I am purging my life of stuff. Before I throw it away is there anyone who may won’t very old Dallas Cowboys weekly’s. They go very far back to the 70s. It is an extensive collection. The price is right as in free. I will pay the shipping if there is interest. Let me know.
Really nice offer I’m gonna pass. However, I used to get DCW in my childhood thanks for bringing up the memory!

Call Texas Tech Southwest Collection museum. They are THE storehouse for any such print media and they digitize all of it making it available to all, online. They will come to you and get all that good stuff.

Just read that an anonymous team is proposing banning the Tush Push. I disagree with this!

Every single team in the NFL can run the exact same play. The injury rate doesn't appear to be out of whack from the play. It's not like Roy Williams' Horse Collar Tackle.

Well, at least Spawn said they will draft one. I think we are looking at a Riley Leonard, Kyle McCord, or Kurtis Rourke. I can't imagine Dallas taking a QB before round 5.

That 4th for Mingo would be nice to have.

Will Cooper Rush also leave? Obviously it depends on the offers. But I would not be surprised.

I don't think it was anonymous, I thought I read something that the Packers want it banned. I don't think they're the only team either.

The "tush push" isnt football, its more like rugby or something. I don't believe defensive players can "push" fellow teammates, so offensive players shouldn't be allowed to do it either.

What a waste of a draft pick
Hindsight is always 20/20, but it was no different than using a 4th rd pick on a QB in last yrs draft.

The only downside was Lance only had two years of control left (assuming we didnt franchise him). The upside is it was a guy who was rated considerably higher than the guy you could have drafted in the 4th.

It was worth the risk. At least they took a shot on a bigger QB with athletic ability and a legit NFL caliber arm.

Mingo might pan out still.

Looks like Sturm agrees with me.

INDIANAPOLIS — The Cowboys have begun negotiations with free agent defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa.

Talks of an extension for Micah Parsons will follow.

Club officials hope to retain free agents Jourdan Lewis and Rico Dowdle while getting a feel for whether or not veteran defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence wants to continue his career.

And outside free agents? The Cowboys intend to be more aggressive on that front than last off-season.

Did we give up a fourth or fifth round pick for Lance? In my mind if he had worked his way up to the backup spot instead of staying third string it wouldn’t have been a wasted pick

I think it is a good play. I see it as a simple short-yardage play. Other teams should do it. The reason they can't is because they don't have the personnel.

Let's instead focus on plays like the QB taking off and being protected so much. Once the QB leaves the pocket, he should be considered a runner.

Or let's focus on allowing the safety to be enforcers again. When a WR comes over the middle, the DB gets to light him up.

Those are real ways to give the defense an edge again.

If I recall correctly, didn't the Chiefs stop it a couple of times?
