Guyton doesnt "suck", he's had ups and downs like almost any rookie LT would have.

Nobody mentions it but the Stealers were without their other edge rusher (Highsmith) and his backup got hurt during the game and didnt return either.

Guyton will be a very good player for a long time.

Havent seen it explained yet, but apparently the radio guys said the Cowboys made some run blocking scheme changes for last night. It certainly looked different for most of the game than what we've seen the previous 4 games.

It's the first time Ive seen the pre injury run blocking Steele and improved Martin showing their power run block skills.
Not the biggest believer in dinosaur Solari but at least for one game there was a semblance of an effective run scheme.
So that's a start.

He does indeed suck. He is the same holding prone tackle he was in college and will likely not improve. The Cowboys line play got better when he exited ...

The above was a great play and a nice throw, but it was also only 3rd and 5. There ended up 3 Stealers in the area of Turpin and one of them almost closed the gap to knock it away.

Look at how wide open Luepke was.

When it looks like he's missing the 'wide open' man it's because that man is later in the progression. Every QB does this.

They're not out there just playing backyard football and just throwing the ball to the "wide open guy." They're going through progressions and timing is key - they know that ball's gotta be outta there in 2-3 seconds. So when the primary is open even a little bit that's where the ball goes period.

Can anybody explain why we signed Dalvin Cook? I’m just trying to understand why he is on our practice squad. I am completely baffled as to why he is not on the game day roster. Surely he is one of the three best backs on our team. JJ just needs to go ahead and make himself the head coach. What’s he waiting for?

But Drunken GM loves him some Zeke, and thats ultimately why Cook isnt on the active roster.
