So apparently Bob Sturm floated "breaking Cowboys news" an hour ago.

Turns out the news is some congressional aid chic claiming to be Jerruh's love child.

So even though the guys stats rank near the top of the league for his last two seasons, you don't think he's worth keeping?

I will go find the details again, but I don't recall anything being mentioned in Prescott's restructuring that added years to his current deal, do you have info that says otherwise?

Cooper will be a loss, but only if Gallup isnt healthy and Lamb isnt ready to assume the #1 role. If Lamb irons a few minor things out, he is more than capable of producing big numbers here and replacing Cooper.

The Eagles arn't going to win shit dude. Happy to bet on that.

Franchise tag isn't "worth keeping", it's paying top 3 money. No Dalton Schultz is not top 3 player at the Tight End position lols ...

Wow you don't even understand what restructures do ... no wonder you have so many laughable posts

Lamb can't seperate vs good corners and neither can Gallup, it's very obv you don't watch all 22

Any amount of money you would like to wager, even tho I know you will welch when you lose ...

Non-exclusive Franchise tag:

— (A), The average of the five largest prior year salaries for players at the position at which the franchise player participated in the most plays during the prior league year, which average shall be calculated by:

  1. Summing the amounts of the franchise tags for players at that position for the five preceding league years
  2. Dividing the resulting amount by the sum of the salary caps for the five preceding league years
  3. Multiplying the resulting percentage by the salary cap for the upcoming league year
— or (B), 120 percent of his prior year salary, whichever is greater.

I asked you to show me where there as anything in the news about adding years to Prescott's deal, and you respond with this stupid shit.

You do know a team can also "restructure" a contract by simply converting base salary to signing or roster bonuses correct?

How bout this then?

Eagles win the division, I'll ban myself for a year.

Eagles don't win the division, and you crawl back under whatever rock (probably Zoner-rock) you came from.

Its amazing they catch any passes at all. Neither of them can do anything.
They get to line up vs Jalen Mills types every week lol ... go back to 2018 before Cooper got here if you want to see how bad Gallup is vs 1s ...

The list of franchise tagged players. There's one truly "elite" player on this list.

3 TE's got the franchise tag and Schultz is pretty clearly better than the other two.
Schultz better than Geisicki ? Are you serious ? loooooooooooooooooooooooooooools, your takes are pure comedy

I don't think because they tagged him they believe he's the best TE in the league or anything.

Well he's going to get paid like one, all be it on a 1 year deal. Tagging Schultz is cringe worthy stuff. He's a turnstile in the running game. Embarassing.

Is there any real difference then? Geisicki isnt much of a blocker himself (he was considered poor at it coming out of Penn State) and the numbers show this for the last two seasons:

Schultz: 141 receptions, 1423 yds, 10.1 yds per rec, 12 tds
Gesicki: 126 receptions, 1483 yds, 11.7yds per rec, 8 tds

If Gesicki is worth the franchise tag, then Schultz is as well.

I still don't think its cringe worthy. His lack of blocking ability right now IMO is still technique stuff and maybe somewhat attributable to the scheme itself (which IMO is a very flawed run scheme overall). He was regarded as pretty good at it at Stanford, so whatever they were having him do then worked.

But he is a really solid receiving TE who gets open and does have some RAC skill, he also doesn't drop many. Letting him go without any legitimate options to replace him would have been foolish IMO, especially since it seems both Cooper and Wilson will also be gone and losing Cooper could definitely have an impact. Losing both Cooper and Schultz could have really stalled the passing game.
