I still think Moore could have given Steele some help much earlier but that's what you get with an inexperienced OC, especially one that didn't earn his position but was kept to keep Dak comfortable.
I think Jerry is at it again. He is doing with Moore the same way he did with Garrett. Jerry wants to be a kingmaker and prove Jimmy Johnson wrong, in that all you have to do is assemble the talent, and HC be damned.

And I'm not really sure we have a lot talent on the D side of the ball. We wasted some serious draft capital with Taco, the Gimp, Hill, Gregory and LVE who may have some health concerns.

Add to that spending two first round picks on WR's and a RB.

I don't have a problem with them using the draft picks on the players that we have. But common sense should have been for them to have drafted the OL replacements right when you signed them to a new contract extension.

We had one of the greatest o-lines ever in the 90s. NONE of them 1st round draft picks. Coaching matters. Since when do you have to have 4, 1st round draft picks in the o-line? Like we had from 2016-2019.

We can't seem to coach anybody up like the rest of the fucking league does.

What a dumpster fire this team and franchise is.

This is shaping up to be a historically bad defensive team.

Yep, so true on both.

I still don't have a big problem with the gamble they took on Gregory since he was the end of the 2nd rd. I also still have hopes for LVE, but he has got to show he can stay on the field at some point.

They were desperate at WR and traded away a late 1st for Cooper, that was not a bad trade at all. he has proven to be well worth it. They drafted Lamb because he was the BPA available (by far, according to what they said about their board) and while it's only been 4 games, it does appear he was well worth it.

The defense is hopelessly lost though. Injuries or no injuries, there's almost no way a team should be this bad defensively. The coaching on that side of the ball is a colossal failure.

I agree, but at the same time we got them players whatever round. Thing is, by Jerry holding onto Garrett too long, the prime years of those OLinemen were wasted.

hard to have a defence when the offense keeps fumbling the god damn ball and forcing them right back out there as well.

They only fumbled twice. Not making light of this, but take away those fumbles, and the defense would still be getting ran through.

Our defense is allowed to take the ball away too. So far they have 2 takeaways in 4 games, and one of those was gift wrapped to us by DK Metcalf.
