The patience with JJ Wilcox may just have paid off. He's a totally different player this year. He's setting the tempo on D with his hits, almost had an INT and a nice stop on 3rd down today.

I feel like there is some new wise sage advisor in the coaching that is informing the offensive and defensive teams to give their players only responsibilities that they can handle. For instance Dallas is managing gains and positive plays as long as:
Wilcox doesn't have to cover much,
Dak doesn't have to play Romos role,
TWilly has limited targets,
Beasley is an immediate option in the passing plays,
And Garrett continues to pull back his influence.

They went back to what works. Surgical plays both running and passing. Beasley functions like play action is supposed to. He gets open quickly and forces the coverage defense to move toward him in a way that loosens the other coverage. He also moves the chains. I feel the the second half was back to the pragmatic Linehan offense that works the series to the first down and doesn't just try for random downfield gashes. Butler needs to start over TWilly (1-11, 1 drop waiting for the ball to hit him in the stomach). Enough is enough.

It started with the TD drive in the first half and continued from there. Overcoming 1st and 30 was huge. Last week vs Pitt they overcame 1st and 25.

Alfred Morris doesn't look like the same guy from pre-season. no burst whatsoever.

On cue:

Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones said the Cowboys will activate Darren McFadden from then non-football injury list to start his 21-day practice window but it's less likely they will do that with Jaylon Smith (knee) or James Hanna, who is on the physically unable to perform list. If they aren't activated by Tuesday, Smith and Hanna will not be eligible to play this season.

If we win this I wonder what media will say next. Cowboys is for real if they beat Vikings. Watch.

They will say the same thing they've been saying all year... Well the Ravens really aren't THAT good. This team is going to go all the way to the SB with "experts" saying... really, who have they beaten?

And they need to utilize that RB Darius Jackson over Dunbar. Those are wasted plays.

Dunbar even got some base offense plays ahead of Morris today. Kinda wonder if Morris is hurt or something, like BB said he just doesn't look the same.

McFadden might get activated to be the primary backup to Zeke the last few games of season.

Disappointing news here, although it was probably expected. This sounds like a really bad injury.

Mo Claiborne tore bone off his pelvis. He is no where close to returning. Still may need surgery. Another MRI in 2-3 weeks

Today was Elliott's toughest day as a pro. You could see he was tired by the end of that game, but since he's young he can keep going. He had around 97 rushing yards which is close enough to 100 against the toughest run defense this year.

I gotta hand it to Dez. Dude finally brought back beast mode. I thought we might never see it again.

I wonder where I can get one of those Ravens backpack Dez was wearing when he crossed the goaline.
