pass protection was excellent in the second half. a complete 180 from the beginning of the game.

Thankfully only maybe Seattle is top-notch on both sides of the ball. Even the Pat's D is suspect. They've traded that dude and benched Jabaal Sheard.

Don't want to get ahead of myself but honestly, the NFC appears to be coming down to us, Seattle and NYG.

Both those teams have significantly better defenses than we do and both can rush the passer, although neither of them is as good offensively or has the kicker we have.

The patience with JJ Wilcox may just have paid off. He's a totally different player this year. He's setting the tempo on D with his hits, almost had an INT and a nice stop on 3rd down today.

It was pretty locked in from about the middle of the 2nd quarter on.

He does miss some throws, but his numbers are unbelievable and the most important number is 9, as in 9 wins in a row.

No doubt, I'm not complaining, what he has done already is astounding but if he can get improve on the high passes and hit receivers in stride better, his receivers will be safer in the process and the O will be even more deadly. Its only been 10 friggin games so given what I've heard about his work ethic, it sounds like it will simply be a matter of time.

sarcasm? he was the worst player on the field. I don't give a shit if he blows someone up now and then if he keeps missing tackles and seldom touches the ball in flight.

Alfred Morris doesn't look like the same guy from pre-season. no burst whatsoever.

He's not giving up a lot of plays and only had 1 missed tackle today. Sean Lee missed one as well.

one missed tackle (leading to a TD) and lost opportunities for tackles because of bad angles

Last 5 drives: TD, FG, TD, TD, FG

6 plays, 8 plays, 10 plays, 13 plays, 13 plays

They went back to what works. Surgical plays both running and passing. Beasley functions like play action is supposed to. He gets open quickly and forces the coverage defense to move toward him in a way that loosens the other coverage. He also moves the chains. I feel the the second half was back to the pragmatic Linehan offense that works the series to the first down and doesn't just try for random downfield gashes. Butler needs to start over TWilly (1-11, 1 drop waiting for the ball to hit him in the stomach). Enough is enough.
