So the Eagles might be pretty confident that they will end up with Wentz

but why jump the gun? why not wait to see who LA picks before making the trade with Cleveland on draft night? they must think that both QBs fit their system, so no need to wait.

But at this point I wouldn't even mind that. I would prefer to trade back a few spots and take him then along with getting an extra couple picks in later rounds

I feel the same way. There have been many more decorated busts in years past. Seems like pure desperation. Would make sense for a team like Dallas that is willing to let them sit like Green Bay did with Rodgers but I don't think either QB is even halfway ready to be thrown out to the wolves.

Just heard the news. Man that sucks. All that sewage we had to watch and we aren't even going to get one of the top QBs out of it.

It would almost be too funny if we panic and take Lynch at #4 and he busts and we really get nothing. But I have a feeling Jerry and Co. are a little relieved that now they've been in effect taken off the hook for ignoring the position.

Would also be funny if the Niners panic and give up the farm to move to 3 and draft Lynch. Who would have thought that QB's go 1, 2, and 3.

Wentz will be decent. He just shouldn't be a top 5 pick IMO. Eagles greatly overpaid.

I'm listening to the Eagles VP of player Acquisition who basically stated that they have done the research on QB's coming out in 2017 and 2018 and that they felt they had to act now to have a Franchise QB within the next three years

So basically they don't see one single QB coming out in the next three years that's worth a damn so they are making the move now to future proof the position

What a novel fucking idea. I wish our front office thought that way

I think they just really wanted Goff. I expect them to take Lynch at 8 now.
