Ian Rappaport is saying the Browns might trade down and take a WR. That organization has no clue how to win.

Ramsey had three career interceptions, none in his last year. That is a little alarming for a guy you are thinking of at #4. But I know that Jason Garrett personally worked him out and threw balls to him, and did not think his ball skills were a drawback. And certainly looked natural going after the football at the combine.

The one thing that stood out to me while watching his highlights and other film is that when he would jump a route and have a clear shot (with both hands) at the ball he would drop it damn near every time

He would however make the play and break up the pass. Which is of coarse a good thing. But he "should" have had a high number of INT.

So he can make plays but it's almost like he's not thinking about the INT and only going for the knockdown

Noticed that too, and that's primarily why I don't want him. You take a CB in the top 5 he better be Deion reincarnate.

I honestly don't care if he caught them all. I just don't think a DB at 4 is worth it or makes enough impact.

Elliott helps this team more than anyone this year and should be a dominant player for quite some time.

Fuck the NFL for this red carpet bullshit.

The NFL and the draft is getting too big for its britches.

WTF? Carr announcing a pick for us? Why?

Dallas Cowboys Pro Football Hall of Fame receiver Michael Irvin is scheduled to announce the club's second-round pick on Day 2 of the NFL draft Friday.
Cornerback Brandon Carr, who recently accepted a pay cut to remain on the roster, is scheduled to announce the Cowboys' third-round pick Friday.

to repeat: #Cowboys are NOT actively looking to trade down from 4. Get blown away? Maybe. But they've got Stud 1A and Stud 1B

Joey Bosa: I could make an immediate impact if drafted by Cowboys

By Jon Machota , Staff Writer Contact Jon Machota on Twitter: @jonmachota

CHICAGO -- Jerry Jones made it clear during Monday's pre-draft press conference that Joey Bosa's character concerns would not be a factor in whether or not the Cowboys drafted the defensive end fourth overall Thursday night.

Bosa appreciates that the Cowboys owner and general manager said those words. It has been reported that Bosa failed a drug test last season at Ohio State, which resulted in him being suspended for the season opener.

"A lot of people say a lot things for me," Bosa said Wednesday. "It's amazing the rumors and stuff you hear. It's really frustrating actually. But it's nice to get to know these coaches and let them know and let them get to know you and realize the person that you really are. You get to show your character.

"So I think after meeting them and meeting all the other teams, I think they really get a good sense of who I am and I'm not what a lot of people like to say about me.

"It means a lot that [Jones] said that."

With defensive ends Randy Gregory and DeMarcus Lawrence suspended the first four games of the upcoming season for violating the league's substance abuse policy, some think the Cowboys must address the position with their first-round pick.

"They're really the only team to that extent or that has two guys on suspension," Bosa said. "It's hard not to hear that and think about that only helps your case more. Who knows? Anything can happen."

The 25 players invited to attend this year's NFL Draft participated in an NFL Play 60 event Wednesday morning in downtown Chicago.

Each player spent roughly 30 minutes answering questions from reporters after the event. Here are some other highlights from Bosa.

On how much he has heard from the Cowboys:

"I visited with them at the combine, talked to them a lot, worked out with them and also visited them in Dallas, so I've been talking to them a lot. It would be a great place to end up. I feel like I'd fit really well. They're missing two guys for four games, maybe more, I'm not exactly sure. I feel like that would be a great fit for me."

On Cowboys defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli:

"I love him. We worked out together, which was great. He loved what he saw. Then we probably spent two or more hours sitting in his D-line room just talking football, watching some old film of all the guys he coached at Tampa and Chicago. I like him a lot."

On if he got a sense of why Marinelli is so beloved by his players:

"He's old school. He brings that old school vibe, but also such new and refined technique. He's one of the best in the business. It's amazing because my coach from college, coach [Larry] Johnson, apparently they know each other and I never knew that. Coach Johnson seems like he's taken everything he knows from Coach Marinelli, so I feel like it transitions my skill set and transitions over real easily."

On if he's heard from Cowboys fans on social media:

"I've really been staying away from social media, just been completely focused on one thing and that's getting in shape and getting ready for this draft. I don't know. I'm sure there's some hate and I'm sure there's some love. I don't really care. Obviously one day if I go there I'm going to have to hopefully please the fans. I'm going to do everything I possibly can to do that. I hope they're supportive."

Another question about visiting the Cowboys:

"I liked it a lot. It would be awesome to play for the Cowboys. I feel like I fit in there really well just as I do in Jacksonville. They run a 4-3 and they're missing some D-linemen right now, so I feel like I can go in right away and have a good impact."

Sources: #Bama LB Reggie Ragland was flagged for an enlarged aorta, which requires yearly monitoring. Some teams have pushed him down a bit

I saw that Dak Prescott may surprise people where he's selected. Some think he could go as high as the 3rd round. Or earlier.

Thought you guys would love hearing that.
