Re-watching the game because I'm a glutton for punishment.

Terrance Williams looked unathletic as fuck on that first drive pass in the endzone. Tripped over his own feet and t-rexed his arms towards the ball. Wtf.

Church is horrible. Just horrible. Let the TE run free into the endzone in the first quarter. Zero coverage.

Stop with that shit already. We are trying to figure out THIS YEARS TEAM.

No, you're trying to figure out this team. I (and others) already know what it's about. Poor coaching, poor offensive philosophy (RBBC), an OL that we heard took years and multiple first rounders to rebuild that is playing like shit, a poor back-up QB that this staff thought was adequate, poor depth, poor drafting and the list goes on.

I've said it 100 times and I'll say it again. This team IS Tony Romo. The guy is so good he hides all the above flaws. This team is poorly coached, poorly managed and poorly run. You just witnessed what life without Romo will look like when these jerks trot out Brandon Weeden and they think he's adequate. What do you think they'll trot out when Romo is no longer here?

When Cole Beasley is your go-to guy, you suck. This coaching staff and personnel department brought us guys like Escobar who should be thriving with this opportunity. And yet he's no where to be seen. They gave us DMac, Weeden and Randle as our #1 RB. They think Church is an NFL caliber safety. They'll drool over Hitchens who is a good spare part but they think he's a difference maker and won't look to upgrade.

This team is flawed on so many levels it's not even funny and idiots will use injuries as an excuse and absolve Garrett and his horrible game day management and coaching. This team is dumb, just dumb and it's a reflection on the HC.

Edit: And who the fuck is JJ Wilcox? I mean, our personnel department still can't find ONE NFL caliber safety. And what idiot looked at Street and thought he was worth a mid-round pick? I mean, it just goes on and on and on........

The defense getting exposed weekly shouldn't surprise us. The defense last years was masked buy a juggernaut rushing attack which kept the D off the field for the majority of the games

That being said. I admit I hate Garrett but I gave him the benefit of the doubt for last years surprising run. What I see is the same thing over and over from this team. Costly penalties, ineffective Defense, predictability, and a complete inability to be creative.

Throw a 5 wide look out there, trips right, bunch formation.

We line it up and run the same plays over and over again without mystery or deception because the logic is if each player executes each play against his defender than the team should win. This is a chess game not checkers.

I still clung to hope that even with the injuries and suspensions we've had to deal with this year that we still stood a chance of making the playoffs but after last nights loss and injury fiasco my last bit of hope is gone.

Lee is out with a concussion. He will be back but he just isn't durable for a DB. He will have another injury and miss more games. He was our stud on D and now I doubt he finishes the season again due to another injury

Dunbar is out with what looks to be a season ender to the same knee he injured before. There goes our leading receiver for year

So our best player on O is out and our best player on D is out

Butler is out with a Hammy. So what

Gachkar was hurt but it doesn't look serious. With our luck it will be

There were other injuries last night but there are no updates on any of them yet so who knows how bad this will get

We get Hardy back next game but he hasn't been able to practice with the team so I see him taking some time to get in the groove again and start to mesh with the team. He was only in for the preseason games but never showed signs of his former glory. He didn't even record a single sack where as Gregory the rookie had 3 in 4 games. So Hardy will be relying solely on his athleticism until he gets up to speed with the team. Here's hoping he's stayed in shape while he was away from camp.

Gregory won't be back till after the bye. But high ankle sprains have a way of lingering all season so who knows if we really get him back at full strength when he does return

Romo will be back in week 11 but by then it looks to be too late to make a run at it

Dez looks to be back a week earlier than projected. If we aren't .500 when he returns I say keep him out and let his foot heal a little more. With no chance at that point at making the playoffs there is zero incentive for him to come back early. The only opportunity his early return would present at that point is further injury to his foot

At first I thought it was a string of bad luck with all these injuries. But at this point we are beyond "bad luck"

With all the injuries that have befallen this team there is only one thing that could save the team and that is great coaching. And that my friends is where we are lacking the most.

We are fielding a team of second and third stringers and to have any success with that set up we would need superb coaching to get us thru these difficult times. And that is where our biggest problem lies.

Did you guys see where we ran an "up tempo" no huddle offense and we still took the play clock down to 7 seconds. You just gotta laugh. Complete ineptitude at every level.

When your best player on O is your 3rd string RB who couldn't start for any NFL team, you've got major issues. The loss of Dunbar shouldn't make or break any game or any team.

Many of our starters wouldn't start on many other teams. We were down to second and third string talent on this D long before the season started.

CZ is a riot.

"Find me any team that could win if they lost their Top 5 QB and Top 5 WR. FIND THEN".

Romo is not a Top 5 QB. He's in that second tier with Brees, Ryan, Eli, etc.

This is true

And all of it comes back to bad coaching

We wouldn't be in this situation if our coaches were better at acquiring talent be it thru trades or the draft

Debatable.

The only guys I'm sure I would take over him right now would be Rodgers and Brady. Luck would be selected in redrafts before Romo, just cause he's so young, but he's way more careless with the ball this year than Romo has been for the past few.

It's like they're waiting until the defense is all set.

Yeah I can't think of five guys better than Romo right now.

Romo has the highest fourth-quarter passer rating among active quarterbacks. And it’s not even close. His 102.1 rating is more than five points higher than the second man on the list, Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers.

Romo's 4th quarter comebacks is tied for 4th on active QB's. Thanks to the pillow soft defense, Brees is now tied with him.

Can't be put any better. If yesterday's game doesn't reveal as to how inept the coaching and management this team is... nothing will. You're a lost cause.

How do you lose to a reeling Saints' team. A Saints team that all appears to be ready to move on from Payton and Brees?

How do you lose to a Fat Rob ran defense?

Romo is one of the worst things to have happened to this team. Because of Romo and his success, Jerry has been on this quixotic quest to find another Romo (UDFA hit) --- or rather his own Romo, because Payton gets credit for that. Proof of this is the way he addresses the QB position with the draft.

And it's not just limited to the QB position. It would seem that Jerry is/has been attempting to find another Romo for every position, hence you have a Barry Church, Tyler Patmon's, and Cole Beasley. Now everybody likes the underdog training camp stories of the UDFA fighting to make the team, and going all out. We all root for these "Little Engines That Could". But this is not how you build a team. Romo is the once-in-a lifetime exception, and Jerry is squandering it. Jerry if you notice... Sean Payton has not found another Romo, since the first one he's found.

And Garrett... falling upwards. The embodiment of that definition.

Am I the only one that thinks that logically you'd have a former QB, that would run a system that was QB-friendly --- that protected the QB s much as it allowed him to succeed? That shot Romo took... he was wide open for that shot. I can almost say that I never seen Rodgers, Brady, Manning, and others take as many shots as Romo. It just seems like they have all the time in the world, while Romo has to do some sort of acrobats to avoid pressure.

One moment the guy wants to run Air Coryell --- with a lack of a decent run game, and slow WRs that have to go vertical. Then he wants to run 2 TE-sets, and so we use high draft picks for a TE that we seem to only use on occasion.

There is a lot more to rant about, but why bother?

Somebody posted the question on what would it take for Garrett to have Jerry fre him. All I know is this: if and when Jerry does finally ul the plug... too much damage would have already been done, to where it wouldn't make a difference.

It's CHECKERS. And this fucker is getting "on the job training" in order to play it.
