Welcome to where I was, oh, about halfway through last year. Actually I think it was when our fearless ginger leader let 45 second tick off the clock so Bailey wouldn't have too easy a kick from 53 yards in the Baltimore wind.I guess its a win, but it honestly felt like a loss. I bet the Vikes will be lucky to win two games the rest of the eyar. they fucking suck. And we had to scratch and claw for 60 mins to eek out a win vs a team that had 3 bums playing in the secondary, plus some other bums playing nickel/dime roles
Really shitty effort by this team today. Pathetic game plan and play calling (again). Horrendous personnel decisions during the game. Just fucking pathetic.
I've never been this dejected about the Cowboys, ever.
For it being football season, and not a bye week, this was easily the most relaxing weekend I've had in forever.
I loaded some money into my drf account Friday and had a blast playing the breeders cup races all Friday and Saturday. Had money left in my account today, had the tv off and without realizing, my wife came in at some point and turned the Dallas game on. I was all involved with my laptop, placing bets and watching the races, so I turned the tv off.
At some point she turned the game back on. She's so used to me being glued to the tv watching the Cowboys. Finally, I had to explain to her that I no longer give a fuck, and she could watch what she wanted.
The Saints didn't have Colston and Sproles got hurt on the first play. I wonder if that had any outcome on the Jets game?
The Dallas Cowboys are a very average team.
Dallas receivers dropped more balls than usual yesterday. Had those balls been caught, I'm guessing the Cowboys would have won comfortably.
... but that's the kind of thing that happens with very average teams. The team lacks consistency and sharp execution. It is usually the case that in any given game, several parts of the team just don't perform up to par.
ZC's post makes complete and total sense if you know how to read and if you read the entire post instead of just looking at a sentence here and there. You're not making any sense here. Are the Cowboys an average team as a result of of that one game where the "Dallas receivers dropped more balls than USUAL"? So are you admitting that yesterday was out of the norm in terms of dropped passes? So in the games where they catch more passes than usual, does that make them above average for the moment?
You are not breaking new ground in proclaiming Dallas to be an average team. What gave you a clue? The four straight playoff misses? or the two and perhaps three consecutive 8-8 seasons? Yes the Cowboys are an average team, but mainly due to having good players but being saddled with a lousy HC, that is what will give you an average team and eventually a below average team. Coaching is everything.
A good HC with a team of bad players will get you an average team, as a result of the good HC having those bad players overachieve/overperform.
A bad HC with a team of good players will get you an average team, as a result of the bad HC having those good players players underachieve/underperform.

He said "that kind of thing" is the mark of being an average team. Then, in the very next sentence, he said the team lacks consistency and sharp execution. His point is that dropping passes is an example of this team's lack of execution and consistency. He pointed out one very specific example of the more general symptom of mediocrity... lack of execution.Stand by your man. You two go get a room.
No it doesn't make any since. On one hand he pointed out as to how the Cowboys' receiver yesterday dropped more pass than usual what they usually drop, and then states that as being a mark of an average team.
