How would you guys like to lose a game like this in the Super Bowl? You think Garrett is terrible in week 8? He'd be shitting his pants in the 4th qtr of a Super Bowl.

Pretty sure Callahan calls the plays, but carry on. Offence lost this game. The holding on 3rd was the final nail. Our offence was shit except for 2-3 splash plays. When you get 4-5 turnovers you have to score more points.

Garrett is worse than Campo. This isn't hyperbole or some gross exaggeration. Campo went 5-11 because he was a bad HC with a bad coaching staff, and a bad collection of players: Quincy Carter and Troy Hambrick.

In comes Parcells. The Cowboys go 10-6, win the division with the same cast of lousy players: Carter and Hambrick.

The only difference is that Garrett has supremely more talent than Campo, and yet 8-8 is the BEST he can do, and it's the players with a lack of coaching that is doing it.

Coaching IS everything. Never doubt it.

Callahan calls the plays, but surely he's not the one in charge of clock management. The Lions called a timeout before that play, we had plenty of time to think it over.

I'm not really upset with the Cowboys or Garrett.

If the refs call a couple of those close fouls differently (and consistently), the Cowboys win. The game itself is like greyhound races. Sort of exciting in the moment, but so arbitrary and flukey. Who gives a shit? It is all flash, no substance.

Man shut the fuck up! This game came down to the last 60 seconds. If Garrett just goes for a 1st down, game over. He wouldn't have had to do anything elaborate: a toss sweep, spread out the defense and do a delay draw, a screen, etc. Just something to move the chaisn and get a first down, while eating up clock and forcing the Lions to use their final timeout. Once he accomplished that (getting the first down), Romo would just have to KNEEL DOWN. GAME OVER.

But this ginger fuck panicked! AGAIN.
