Maybe the game is different if Dez hangs on to that pass and Dunbar doesn't fumble, but Tony was oddly conservative and inaccurate as the game wore on. Maybe he heard footsteps that weren't there.

But Dez had a big drop. And the Cowboys gave up turnovers. And the defense couldn't get a stop.

Romo had an entire 2H to figure out how to beat their defense and failed...loss is on ROmo...period

If I can take a second to be understanding, maybe he's had so little help up front for so long, he's had to make a lot of things happen for the offense, maybe he's taken the approach that he's only going to take what's given now.

He's taking no risks, none of the stuff he would do normally. Understandably so, he would take the brunt of the gear when shit goes wrong. Still has no running game to keep defenses honest.
