If Olawale makes the team, it might mean Felix is getting traded

That said, Olawale is interesting to me. He was apparently a FB only in college and signed as a backup FB here, but they started making alot of positive comments about him almost immediately. To be as big as he is, he runs with some athleticism in addition to the power. He also displayed really good hands out of the backfield several times in TC and preseason games.

I dont see felix going anywhere....We dont know olawale made the team yet but I dont think it affects felix jones at all.

I really doubt they'd keep 5 RB's, 4 seems like the most to me.

olwale could be taking chappas spot. he can catch the ball and run a little....maybe find packages for him...

I still find it hard to believe they would keep olwale, tanner and dunbar.....and we know tanner is going nowhere...

all this stuff seems premature considering half the league is playing tonight and will make there cuts tomorrow.

was just going by what was reported at the time:

Cowboys expected to sign North Texas FB Jamize Olawale

The Cowboys are expected to sign North Texas fullback Jamize Olawale to their 90-man roster. Olawale impressed Cowboys coaches and scouts at the team’s rookie mini-camp last weekend at Valley Ranch. He was one of 15 players to attend the three-day camp on a tryout basis.

He caught the football well out of the backfield and did enough to be added to the roster.

The Cowboys haven’t officially signed Olawale yet, but he tweeted earlier Monday afternoon, “Cowboys called they wanna sign me!!! GOD is Glorious…all praise and glory to HIM!!! Gotta stay humble…time to go to work!!!”

Olawale (6-0, 235) was listed as a wide receiver at North Texas. He’s from Long Beach, Calif., and transferred to North Texas after playing two seasons at El Camino Junior College (Torrance, Calif.).

He had two catches for nine yards in eight games played last season for North Texas. In 2010, Olawale played in 11 games and made six catches for 79 yards.

The Cowboys cut linebacker Brashton Satele earlier Monday afternoon to get to 87 players on their roster. They’re allowed to have 90 players on their off-season roster who will go into training camp in late July. They could add two more players from the 15 who tried out over the weekend.

Just for the record, I (the biggest Jerry hater known to man) am not "freaking out " about any of these moves. Some may surprise me but I'm not seeing any colossal mistakes. Just bottom of the roster type guys. Cutting McGee doesn't piss me off. Drafting a QB who was benched in his senior year in the 4th round pisses me off.

Olawale surprises me. He seems like the definition of a JAG. Nice kid, good story, ehhh football player.

really? i like him. He runs with authority and he's a big mofo. I can see he being our goal line back

I think trying to develop QBs is kind of a waste of time anyway until they get a QBS coach worth a shit

just like coale he is a complete mystery.

the only difference is the safety position is a question mark and very thin. We basically have to keep johnson even if he ends up terrible, especially with the mcray injury.

Glad Johnson is making the team.

Cutting a 4th and 5th would be horrid.

I'd hate to think that we're keeping certain guys to spare Jerry embarrassment over the draft, but I wouldn't put it past them.

I think its time you guys put this train of thought to bed...it isnt happening...may have a long time ago, but definitely not anymore

they cut draft picks last yr, and reportedly are cutting Coale and Jones' personal fav, Leary
