I know we all get caught up in fads, and the NFL has always been a copycat league, but it would be nice to figure out who is going to be the next Jim Harbaugh/Greg Schiano. A tough son of a bitch who doesn't care about political correctness or people's feelings. He just goes out there and challenges you to a fight every week and his players are all onboard.

Any suggestions?

That's another reason I hate Garrett so much. We didn't even look at Harbaugh (definitely a top 3 coach in the league) bc of this Ginger clown.

Jerry hated Parcells as much as he hated Jimmy bc both dudes neutered him, but I'm pretty sure we'd be working on our 7th Super Bowl run right now if Payton got the Garrett treatment here and was named coach in waiting. Two huge whiffs on actual, experienced, quality coaches.

I didn't think Schiano had it like that and it was a dick move but he made up for it post-game. Players will love a guy like that, not just respect him.

Unless he loses alot. Then it just becomes lame.

Well, Jeff Fisher is pretty much the same way (but with NFL experience) and he was available but like UVA said, of course we didn't even look at him or Harbaugh because Jerry had already made up his mind he was hiring his boy in 1999 or whenever it was.

I can't really think of a young guy like this but I don't keep up with college that much. At one time maybe Bob Stoops, though I don't think he'd have been good. Funny thing is how much Tampa got ripped for hiring Schiano, but I'd take him in a heartbeat.

I think he'd be better than Garrett and that's no joke. Can't stand Rex, but I have to admit he is a pretty good HC.

And you know Jerry would love his circus act just like that guy in NY doesn't mind it.

Problem is I think we need a fresh perspective on these players and everything else from outside the organization. And Jerry ain't having that.

Garrett says handling a teammate getting clocked with cheap shots is "tricky situation" in defending them the right way.

Ah man. I'm ready to run through a brick wall for this guy

No doubt. Thinking about who I've heard described like that, there aren't many. I know people have said Ratliff is totally devastated after losses and you don't even talk to him for a while because he might tear your head off. I'm sure Witten is pretty close.

I don't know if I agree with Schiano having his guys fire off the ball on that last kneeldown play yesterday, but I do like the way he didn't apologize for it afterwards and said the Giants don't get to decide when we quit. Standing up to Coughlin and being defiant like that is the kind of thing that does show real "culture change" if you ask me.

Not when you lose the game and blow a huge lead.

Sensabaugh and Church were both injured yesterday and didnt finish the game. I think Church missed the entire 2nd half. The run defense definitely seemed to be worse without him in there.

Mike Jenkins will get some looks at FS due to some injuries to Sensabaugh and Church.

Jay Ratliff might return this week.

Ironic for Ginger supporter to say this.

Did you just wake up from a coma and miss the entire 2011 Cowboys season?

Dallas didn't even show up for the trip yesterday. I can't imagine a team coached by Shiano just bending over and quitting immediately after getting punched in the chin. More importantly, you'd be cyber-fellating Shiano right now if he were the coach here and did that.
