Yeah not sure if u follow DWare but his tweet after the game was pretty pathetic:

“@DeMarcusWare: Tough lose... U learn from what didn't go right. Change it be and better from it. *Losing a battle doesnt mean u lost the war...#Bounce Back"

I am sick and tired if these cliches that we say after losses..."oh well come back next week, we weren't ready"

He got completely shut out by a backup LT and a rook QB, less talk more walk.

Their secondary looked tight then all of the sudden nicks and Marty B just started catching Jump ball prayers left and right. I feel a classic dez 2 TD game

sorry boss,

dez has no classic games. Dez is a classic example of the team he plays for promoting him to superstar status without ever doing anything in the nfl.

third year looks as clueless as day 1. No excuses left to hide behind.

theebs, I think you said in one of your posts that it almost seems like the players have taken on Garrett's "That game is over, we'll put it away now and not think about it" mantra too much. I think there might be some truth that. Sure, there's a 24 hour rule and you can't dwell on games too long into next week's preparation, but what's wrong with immediately after the game showing some genuine anger about a terrible performance instead of just robotically dismissing it by saying we have to move on and forget it?

I know I don't believe in Garrett, but to be serious for a second and not joke about it, this is one reason why. Not like the coach has to throw a tantrum, but showing some pain and showing that you're pissed off about the unacceptable game you just saw is a good thing IMO. Unlike say baseball, football really is a game of emotion and I think it's good for your players to see how much you really care. I guess that's just his personality, though.

There seems to be this apologist attitude that it's "just one game".

What did we miss the playoffs by last year?

Just One Game.

He is a politician. that is his demeanor. Slogans and secondary meaningless awards are what this organization is about currently.

Personally, I would like to have a rodney harrison in this locker room for once who would rip a locker off the wall after a loss like this where the players just genuinely seem to not care in the locker room.

The media here keeps saying these are garrett's players, they are buying his message........

well it was never more evident than yesterday. Get your ass kicked and show no emotion and then after the game tell us its a week to week league.

the best part to me is like I said last night, the only quality I like about Rob ryan is that he is half crazy and aggressive.....well now we have the trying to be slim, getting his hair cut, politically correct version......I wonder who encouraged that....

Again, If jim harbaugh slapped garrett on the back like he did shwartz I am pretty sure garrett would thank him and shake his hand.

If they win 5 of 6 or 6 of 7 or something, I guess we could look back on it later and say its just one game.

But until they prove capable of doing something like that, its more than "just one game"

that is true, but given the history and perception of this group this team is going to have to beat a number of the tougher teams in the league just to start shaking the label of guys who just dont want it bad enough.

philly, baltimore, pittsburgh and maybe chicago are going to have to be tough hard fought wins.

even then that is just the regular season.

the problem is they just pack it in so fast and so often.

No doubt. Thinking about who I've heard described like that, there aren't many. I know people have said Ratliff is totally devastated after losses and you don't even talk to him for a while because he might tear your head off. I'm sure Witten is pretty close.

I don't know if I agree with Schiano having his guys fire off the ball on that last kneeldown play yesterday, but I do like the way he didn't apologize for it afterwards and said the Giants don't get to decide when we quit. Standing up to Coughlin and being defiant like that is the kind of thing that does show real "culture change" if you ask me.

I know we all get caught up in fads, and the NFL has always been a copycat league, but it would be nice to figure out who is going to be the next Jim Harbaugh/Greg Schiano. A tough son of a bitch who doesn't care about political correctness or people's feelings. He just goes out there and challenges you to a fight every week and his players are all onboard.

Any suggestions?

This is why people even joke about Rob Ryan looking like the actual head coach out there. I can't think of a single successful coach who is as douchy and robotic as our Howdy Doody. Belichick seemed that way, but when you watch all the behind the scenes stuff, it's pretty clear that he's psychotically passionate and loved by his players. If Garrett were canned today, I really wonder if any player would care very much. Talk to anyone outside of Dallas without blinders on, and they'll tell you that Garrett seems more like another Josh Daniels or Lane Kiffin. Too arrogant, and too inexperienced.
