Ironic for Ginger supporter to say this.

Did you just wake up from a coma and miss the entire 2011 Cowboys season?

Dallas didn't even show up for the trip yesterday. I can't imagine a team coached by Shiano just bending over and quitting immediately after getting punched in the chin. More importantly, you'd be cyber-fellating Shiano right now if he were the coach here and did that.

I guess you are quite pleased with yesterdays result....

Looks like Sensabaugh might be gone till the Baltimore game:

Sources: Gerald Sensabaugh out?

IRVING, Texas -- Gerald Sensabaugh has missed only one game since joining the Dallas Cowboys in 2009, but a right calf strain might keep the starting free safety on the sideline for a couple of weeks, according to sources.

Sensabaugh expressed hope after Sunday's 27-7 loss to Seattle that he would be able to play this week against Tampa Bay, but that was before an MRI was performed on Monday. Sensabaugh left the Seahawks' game with 9:34 to play after a 1-yard run by Marshawn Lynch and said his calf "popped a little bit." He had ice on his calf for the remainder of the game and was in a protective boot in the locker room.

Sensabaugh's running mate, Barry Church, suffered a quadriceps bruise while covering a first-half kickoff and was unable to continue after returning for a few plays. He said after the game he would be able to go against Tampa Bay as well and his chance to play appears a bit better.

If Sensabaugh and Church are out, the Cowboys would start Danny McCray and Mana Silva at safety against the Buccaneers. Neither has started a game in their careers.

Sensabaugh's absence could also create a depth void as well. The Cowboys are carrying only four safeties on the 53-man roster and rookie Matt Johnson has been limited essentially since June with a hamstring injury and has not practiced since the regular season began.

Cornerback Mario Butler took some work during training camp and preseason at safety.

The eagles are gonna work him with their speed.

I completely forgot about Hank Williams and that "Are you ready" song. It's like a fart in the wind.

Don't miss it....

3 and a half minutes left.. Denver only down a TD. Atlanta's ball.

I'd love to see this defense get Peyton the ball back.

Same. Good finish either way.

On another note, wish we had a safety like William Moore. He played very very well tonight.

Giants -1.5 @ Panthers

I got to say, I like the Panthers in a low scoring game here.

Redskins -4 vs Cincinatti

I'd take Cincy plus.

Eagles -4 @ Arizona

Again, I'd take the dog plus the points.

I'm told that Cowboys starting safety Barry Church will be ready for Sunday. Jay Ratliff won't play and DE Kenyon Coleman is unlikely.

so 3 starters (plus Sensabaugh) out for this game? How healthy is Spears? Does Crawford get significant downs now?

Energized Bucs squad a far cry from listless losers that crumbled against Cowboys in 2011

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ - SEPTEMBER 16: Head coach Greg Schiano of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers directs his players in the fourth quarter against the New York Giants on September 16, 2012 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. (Photo by Elsa/Getty Images)

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are not the same lifeless team the Cowboys beat, 31-15, last season to improve their record to 8-6. That was the Cowboys’ final victory in 2011.

Those Bucs were in the midst of a 10-game season-ending losing streak that cost coach Raheem Morris his job.

These Bucs appear to have been energized by rookie Greg Schiano, considered more of a taskmaster than Morris, who favored a looser style of leadership.

These Bucs opened their season with a 16-10 victory over the Carolina Panthers, holding quarterback Cam Newton in check. They then led the New York Giants by 11 points entering the fourth quarter Sunday before Eli Manning rained on their parade, pulling out a 41-34 victory.

Two draft choices and three free-agent signees have helped with the improvement.

Like the Cowboys, the Bucs moved around in the first round. The Bucs impacted the Cowboys’ draft when they traded the fifth pick for the seventh pick. Jacksonville took wide receiver Justin Blackmon.

The Cowboys then moved up to get the sixth pick and take cornerback Morris Claiborne. That left the Bucs to select the defensive back they preferred, safety Mark Barron, a heavy hitter who appears to be a perfect fit.

Later with the 31st pick of the first round, the Bucs added running back Doug Martin from Boise State. Martin has rushed for 161 yards, helping young quarterback Josh Freeman look more like he did two years ago than he did in 2011.

To complement their two top draft picks, the Bucs invested $141 million in three free agents — wide receiver Vincent Jackson from San Diego, cornerback Eric Wright from Detroit and guard Carl Nicks from New Orleans. All are starting and contributing. If Nicks sounds familiar, that’s because there was much speculation that he might sign with the Cowboys.

In the final seconds of Sunday’s loss to the Giants, Schiano ruffled Coughlin’s feathers when the Bucs defense played aggressively as Manning took a knee to end the game.

Schiano was unapologetic. His team is expected to play as aggressively against the Cowboys.
