Shango went nuts but it makes sense. Seattle will be in the hunt for a wildcard spot with the way things look, so that was a bad loss.

Giants and Eagles both won today, and the Redskins games are gonna be really tough for us. So that's 5 potentially shitty games. Our entire schedule is actually really brutal this season. 15 weeks left. Can't freak out yet, but also can't give away games thinking you'll live to see another day.

I hate losses like this where we can't point to one guy, or one group, to focus all of our angst on for the end result. This was like a bizarro team effort.

If you didnt know better, you'd say they tanked on purpose. It was THAT bad by so many.

Utter team and coaching failure yesterday.

Yep. But only one person is responsible and no it's not the qb. It's the head coach.

Love how he throws out the interception right away in the press conference like that was a problem or something.

I was totally against Jeff fisher coming here because I don't like him and think he is over rated, but you know what the rams have outplayed Detroit and lost late and yesterday pulled off a gutty win over Washington.

So obviously he knows how to motivate and keep the pedal down.

We have a politician as head coach and it rubs off on everyone. Everybody was way to comfortable just saying, hey wewill correct mistakes and get em next week. Way to matter of fact.

We need a head guy to take control and set the tone. Unfortunately I have absolutely no idea who that is.

I refuse to watch the Shango video.

Fan videos are retarded. I hate everyone who posts one.

Besides.... why is he wearing shades inside?

Potential good news if two semi-prominant Giants players miss significant time to injury:

Although the New York Giants won a wild game over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, they also lost quite a bit with offensive lineman David Diehl and running back Ahmad Bradshaw suffering potentially major injuries.

The good news for Diehl, who got caught under a pile of players in the first quarter, is that initial tests confirmed he did not suffer an ACL injury. However, his MRI results have not been made readily available and head coach Tom Coughlin had no further updates after the game. It has been speculated that his injury is of the MCL variety – still possibly a long-term issue.

Bradshaw, meanwhile, left the 41-34 game in the second quarter on Sunday after suffering a neck injury. He was immediately taken for X-Rays, which were negative, but is scheduled to undergo an MRI this afternoon at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.

In addition to Bradshaw and Diehl, cornerback Michael Coe and wide receiver Domenik Hixon each suffered injuries of their own. Coe had his hamstring tighten up and Hixon was diagnosed with a concussion after taking an illegal hit courtesy of Bucs linebacker Mason Foster. Neither would return to the game.

We have gators to keep out of our own swamp mid.

Mana silva and mcray at safety against Vincent Jackson.

And a big offensive line that manhandled the giants front four.

Even with McCray and Silva, we have a better secondary than do the Giants.

Better, bigger, more physical corners to match up against Jackson.

But yeah, that Bucs Oline is intimidating.

Almost surprised we're that big a favorite. Don't know much about him really, but from afar Schiano seems to me like a good coach, kind of a badass after the disaster that was Raheem Morris. And I heard Dilfer (or maybe it was Hoge, not sure) on the radio yesterday saying that Gerald McCoy was absolutely tearing it up on the D-line. They might be a poor man's version of last year's Niners.

There play was night and day different from ours yesterday. They blew the game late but they were aggressive and flying around.

There players won't be getting questions on whether or not they give a shit today.

I watched at a bar and couldn't hear the sound yesterday - what were the TV guys saying about this debacle? Were they questioning effort or anything? Moose and Goose are usually pretty good.

Haven't watched the tv broadcast yet, broadcasters yet anyway.

Brad and babe were being honest about how bad it was.

I watched some of the Bucs game and I'll tell you this, if Dallas think they can show up and go through the motions, they'll get their ass handed to them again.

The Bucs were physical across the board. Talib was holding a bit and drew a flag or two but he was right up in the face of the WR.

The Bucs are a young team and if you let them think they can play with you, they will. They have the talent at skills positions and they have a workhorse back in Doug Martin.

They have a QB who's adequate at times but can be pretty good if he gets into a rhythm.

I'll tell you this, if Dallas doesn't come out and bust their ass this week, the Bucs will do it for them.

This is the NFL, there are no freebies. See Cardinals against the Patriots or any number of games each and every week.

Hopefully Dallas gets their asses in gear and stomps out the Bucs so we can start handing out weekly awards and mounting them on plaques that will go on display like we're a fucking high school team that hasn't won in 20 years.

Two plays that I think would've likely changed the game entirely for us...

First... that Witten drop.

Or even to have gotten the warranted PI call on the linebacker who got there too soon.

Second... that PI call being on Tate for spearing Lee, instead of on Carter for barely touching Wilson.

The Felix fumble and blocked punt are no-brainers... but even with those, I think had the above two plays gone the way they should've... we could've won the game.

"I felt like them guys [the Cowboys] didn't want to play,'' Seattle's superb young free safety Earl Thomas said in blunt assessment in the winning locker room. "They kind of shut it down after a while. Once we stopped their run, [Tony] Romo was throwing passes fading away. We know if we kept the rush on Romo, it was going to be a hard day for him.

"We made it a physical day for them, and they weren't prepared. We lasted longer than them, and I feel like we were in better shape. So that's the kind of mentality we've got to keep playing with, and if we do, it's going to be hard for us to get beat.''

"It sent chills through my body,'' Thomas said of Tate's crushing blow. "When you see guys giving effort like that, both sides of the ball feed off it.''
