Yep, we definitely were on the better end of the officiating today. A few things, one, the Browns are better than their record. Two, we keep playing to the level of our competition. Too many things wrong with the Cowboys and Garrett is not improving. A playoff(or near playoff) run will probably save Garrett this year, which is unfortunate for us. Some people have it, some people don't. Garrett is the latter.

I have a feeling that Red is coming back even if Payton is on the market this January.

Jerry loves hype. If Payton hits the open market, Jerry will dip his toe in the water. That will keep Jerry in/on the news everyday and we all know that is his number one priority.

Except that Red is cheaper, easier to push around, and will have only been on the job 2.5 years. Even Campo got longer than that to prove himself.

Did someone in the CBS booth say that Garrett is like Belichick and will win 3 SBs? Were they quoting Jerry or something?

Any word on Tyron?

IRVING, Texas -- Cowboys starting left tackle Tyron Smith left Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns with a high ankle sprain that puts his availability for the Thanksgiving Day game with Washington in question.

Jermey Parnell replaced Smith, who didn't play in the second half, at left tackle. The Cowboys were already minus center Ryan Cook (knee) and moved starting right guard Mackenzy Bernadeau to center. Derrick Dockery replaced Bernadeau at right guard in the starting lineup.

The Cowboys' offensive line had many issues on Sunday, including a season-high seven sacks allowed and 10 hits on quarterback Tony Romo.

"It's high ankle which just bothers the daylights out of ya," Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said. Later he added, "The trainers were a little more than usual optimistic that it won't be as bad as it can be on high ankle."
