There are plenty of coaches who have far less at OL and QB yet don't seem to struggle as much.

As far as OL+QB combo, unless you want to make the case that Dallas is bottom of the food chain, there is no excuse.

Oh, and case we're keeping count. The same asshole calling plays is the same asshole who ignored the OL.

One, I don't buy that anyone other than Jerry is calling the shots.

Two, we didn't ignore the OL (with the exception of Center). We threw good money at two players (Bernadeau and Livings) that many felt were not good enough. We made bad calls. We've also given pretty healthy extensions to Doug Free and Jermey Parnell. Whoever is the final authority on evaluating O Line play is missing the boat.

And Tyron Smith might be a better RT than LT. Another misevaluation.

There was some discussion here among those watching the game if Garrett was even paying attention.

Makes you wonder sometimes. He almost refuses to take what the defense is giving him. Instead, he'll send routes down the field while Romo is getting f'ed up.

He almost never screens these aggressive defenses.

Can you name any Detroit Oline starters? I think a 1st round pick of theirs 2 or 3 seasons ago is a backup for them.

Stephen Peterman is one, the guy we gave up on too soon who's turned into a quality NFL starting G.

I dont need to be able to "name" them. I doubt a Detroit fan could name any of our OL starters, save maybe Tyron Smith.

I wanted to believe these guys like Livings and Bernadeau could play, at least at an acceptable level. they cant play. And Doug Free has regressed as much as any player I've ever seen. If he had played this way in 2009 & 2010 he'd have never gotten a contract extension. The guys looks worse than most undrafted free agents now.

I give the C a pass, he's only here because of the number of injuries at C. I'd like to think that at least one of Costa, Nagy or Kowalski could have been decent enough for us.

Our line sucks too. Which is my point.

He hasn't played Left Tackle since high school so it might be a matter of time. Still, he is playing better than the other 4 O Linemen.

Right now the giants have Chris snee, will Beatty and then a bunch of guys. They keep putting it all together though.

We have the most exploitable ol. I swear you do anything remotely tricky and you got us

First play of the game was a screen, and those cluster fuck OL's blew it up by themselves

There is a lot to be said for getting out with a win. Several players on defense looked good. Church is a tough loss.

The offense .... Well, maybe they'll get it together in a few weeks.

Right now, I'd be open to drafting a OT with our 1st round pick this year. Hopefull Smith matures into a quality LT, or we just move him to the right and have the 1st round pick start at left.

Which sucks because I was aiming for Tyler Eifert.

Maybe they could start by practicing, because from the play the last two games it doesnt appear they've done any.

You might be right but that sucks if true. That means yet again we aren't addressing long-standing needs like Center, Safety, Pass Rusher.
